  Vision Express advertises complimentary tests like 3D OCT, glaucoma risk, dry eye, UV assessment and digital retinal photography, which is why I chose them for my mother’s eye test. However, none of the test results or reports were provided. Because they knew their results are not accurate. They just it for marketing. It feels misleading to advertise these tests without sharing the results. If you’re choosing them for these “additional tests,” ask beforehand whether you’ll actually receive the reports. Don’t be misled by their marketing.

  I can’t fault the friendly and professional service I received at Bracknell Vision Express. I’ve yet to receive my new glasses but going by the service I received so far I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this store.

  Took my 11 yr old for standard eye test, sadly needs glasses but I was so impressed with the staff we encountered. The lovely lady doing the tests was great, talking directly to my child using language we understood and was very engaging. We had some really helpful but not intrusive advice regarding choice of frames. Really nice to go somewhere where the staff are all so friendly and genuinely helpful.

  Update: My glasses have now been delivered, tested and fitted properly. Mr Ranbir dealt with me professionally, apologised for the problems and refunded the £10 PD charge. He confirmed that this should not have been charged because I was already purchasing spectacles from Vision Express. The lenses appear to be excellent quality—very clear, and the coating looks good. I will wear them for a few days to make sure the prescription is comfortable and does not cause headaches. I appreciate how Mr Ranbir resolved the matter. However, the original experience still involved a missed delivery, unreliable tracking, two unnecessary store visits, poor communication and a very slow Head Office complaints process. The final resolution was good, but the overall process should have been much better. _______ Very disappointing experience with Vision Express. I ordered prescription glasses in-store on 19 July after an eye test and was told they should be ready within around seven days. The online tracker then showed the order as “on the way” with delivery expected between 24 and 27 July, but nothing arrived. I visited the store twice for updates and was told not to rely on Vision Express’s own tracking system and to wait for a text instead. I was later called and told the delivery had been missed, the glasses had been returned, and they would need to be redispatched. No clear explanation, no revised delivery date and, disappointingly, no apology. I was also charged £10 simply to be given my PD measurement, even though it had already been taken as part of the glasses order. The receipt describes this only as “goods”. The issue is not just the delay—it is the unreliable tracking, poor communication and lack of accountability. I have raised this with Head Office and hope they investigate both the order handling and the PD charge.
