    Recently signed up. Overall I would say this is an ok gym but with some significant issues. The first is that it is very overcrowded to the extent that it is often hard to find a parking space and the facilities such as the outside pool are crowded. Changing area is on the small side - often limited numbers of lockers free and I suspect some members just unofficially keep a padlock on lockers overnight. The main gym area has reasonable variety of equipment but one major issue is that it is open to the pool area via the mezzanine. This basically means that it’s pretty much the warmest gym I’ve ever been to - you end up sweating before really even getting into the workout. The actual club restaurant area itself basically turns into a remote working zone for the surrounding area in the week. Unbelievably have seen 1 person deciding to take up an entire booth suitable for 4 people and bringing in 3 (yes 3 ) flat screen displays to work and do conference calls IN THE CLUB! Bizarre. Management seem to have no issues with this or the fact it basically gives a pretty weird atmosphere. Slightly mixed bag on the clientele - think Rolls Royce parked in disabled bays outside, people taking up lots of space in the restaurant and not being willing to share a table on a busy day when they have taken up an entire booth. Food is a mixed bag - ordered a few dishes in the last couple of weeks which definitely weren’t delivered as described on the menu. Join if you must but be warned !

    I recently joined David Lloyd Beaconsfield, and I’m absolutely loving it! Kalem was outstanding throughout the whole joining process. He took the time to help me and my family get set up with memberships and classes, making us feel genuinely welcome from day one. Kalem is professional, friendly, and always happy to answer any questions. His customer service has been exceptional, and he’s made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. If you’re thinking about joining, I would definitely recommend asking for Kalem. He’ll make sure you’re well looked after!

    We had such a brilliant experience joining David Lloyd thanks to Kalem. From start to finish he went above and beyond to make everything feel easy and enjoyable. He was incredibly attentive, patient and helpful throughout the whole process, taking the time to answer all of our questions and making sure everything was sorted seamlessly. Nothing felt too much trouble and his customer service genuinely stood out. He made us feel really welcomed and gave us confidence that we had made the right decision joining. It is rare to come across someone who is so personable, knowledgeable and dedicated to making sure people have a great experience. A huge thank you to Kalem for all of his help and for making the whole process such a positive one. David Lloyd is lucky to have him!

    I’ve had an absolutely fantastic experience at David Lloyd Beaconsfield! The team here truly goes above and beyond to make every visit enjoyable. Special shoutout to GM David— top lad! He’s not afraid to get his hands dirty, literally!!!! as I witnessed him unclog the toilet in the men’s changing room all with a smile and great humor. The staff across the club are equally amazing. Salesperson Will is knowledgeable and approachable, while Amie, Hannah and Honor at the front of house are always smiling, polite and genuinely friendly making you feel welcome the moment you walk in. The F&B team—Louise, Chrissy, Erin and Leanne are exceptional, offering top-notch service and whipping up the best dirty chai lattes I’ve ever had. Every visit feels like coming to a place where everyone truly cares about your experience. Big thanks to the entire team at David Lloyd Beaconsfield for making it such a fantastic club to visit! The VIP Booth Guy!

    I am extremely disappointed with the way this matter has been handled. I purchased a pair of swim shorts from David Lloyd and wore them for the first time in the swimming pool. Shortly afterwards, I developed a severe allergic reaction in my groin area, affecting both the front and back, with significant redness, irritation and itching. It was extremely uncomfortable and distressing. The very next day, I returned to David Lloyd to explain what had happened and to return the shorts. The shorts were taken from me and I was told that the matter would be looked into and that someone would come back to me. I then waited almost 10 days for a response, only to be told that a refund would not be issued. I find this extremely disappointing and unfair. I returned the shorts promptly, explained clearly that they had caused a severe reaction after first use, and David Lloyd kept the item while they investigated. I am now left without the shorts and £45 out of pocket. I understand David Lloyd may say that the shorts were supplied by an external provider, but from a customer’s perspective, they were purchased within a David Lloyd club. If David Lloyd allows external providers to sell products on its premises to its members and customers, then David Lloyd should take responsibility for ensuring complaints are handled properly and fairly. It is not acceptable to simply pass responsibility elsewhere when something goes wrong. This experience has caused me genuine pain, discomfort and distress. I would have expected a company such as David Lloyd to show some empathy, take the complaint seriously, and offer a fair resolution. Instead, I feel dismissed and let down. Keeping the shorts and then refusing to refund me is unacceptable. Overall, this has been a very upsetting and disappointing experience. I expected far better from David Lloyd, especially given the nature of the reaction and the fact that I returned the item immediately. I changed my review since David Lloyds has acknowledged the problem and now issued a refund by way of reducing my membership fee next month. - thank you.
