Review for Amos Sureka at Summit Spine and Pain Center
I am a 34-year-old patient with well-documented chronic pain. This appointment was with a fill-in provider, not the physician I normally see, and it was my first and only interaction with Dr. Sureka.
From the start, the interaction felt dismissive and judgmental. When I stated that I felt judged, the response was simply, “Yeah,” with no clarification, empathy, or effort to address the concern. Despite having no red flags in my medical history, I felt treated as though I were drug-seeking.
I have diagnosed cervical stenosis, multiple herniated discs, and scoliosis. Attempts to explain how these conditions affect my daily functioning, work, and ability to care for my children were cut short. No vital signs were taken, and there was little effort to understand the impact of my condition on my quality of life.
I understand the importance of caution when prescribing pain medication; however, these discussions should be handled with professionalism and compassion. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. I left the appointment feeling dismissed, unheard, and emotionally distressed.
FYI- I saw this cold hearted jerk at the canton location. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTED AND HE SHOULD HAVE HIS LICENSE REMOVED!
