- JBJenna BridgeNov 26, 20254.0I’m visiting from out of town and wanted to try Pure Barre for the first time. (I’m a regular at a boutique barre studio where I’m from). I was excited to get to try the first class for free. I arrived about 15 minutes early, but I guess another class was in session, so they didn’t open the doors until just a few minutes before class started. I also never got the memo about needing socks, so I had to purchase a pair when I got there. (Pure Barre has carpeted floors and requires socks. My studio from home is hardwood and the socks are optional.) I had also booked another class for the next day and paid for it. I didn’t leave very early because I wasn’t able to get in early the previous day, and unfortunately I ended up being about 4-5 minutes late with traffic. They would not let me in. I totally under the policy, I was refunded, and this was my own fault, but I was still upset about not getting to try the class and missing the opportunity to work out. The instructor Hannah was great, and super sweet though. I’m bummed I missed her Planksgiving class. Remember to bring socks, don’t be late, and maybe you will have great experience. I do highly recommend barre classes. They are fun and a great workout.
