I have been a proud member since October 2018. Offering a plethora of classes tailored to your level of progression, comfort, and flexibility, this studio supports one's transition from a Level 1 (Beginner) to a Level 2 (Intermediate). The staff are friendly and remember each member by name. The site manager, Stephanie, always makes you feel valued by listening. The team there ensured that everyone's safety was secured by being aware of and adhering to CDC guidelines during the COVID-19 pandemic. They even accommodated their schedules to now offer virtual classes. This is a home away from home. It's the place to get away from work and heal physically and even spiritually. I am glad that I stumbled across the Facebook ad and convinced two of my girlfriends to join along with me. You should join, too!

CAUTIONARY TALE: This review is in light of a disheartening phone call I just had with the Manager of the Woodstock Location, Stephanie. This resulted in a cancellation of both mine and my spouse’s account. (Skip to the last paragraph for info about the call & Pro’s vs Con’s)
Signed up in Jan. and started taking classes.
On Mar. 7 I broke my foot, my billing cycle was on the 4th and I had been charged. In light of the negative impact of COVID-19 on small business and acknowledging my 3 month contract, I refrained from requesting a refund for the month because I wanted to make sure Club Pilates was still around for when I recovered!
By April, my break had not healed correctly and my recovery was going to take 2mo longer than expected. So I called to have my account put on hold. Stephanie asked for my name, pulled up my info and was understanding - she offered to put my account on hold for 3mo while I recovered. Great!
Well on April 4 I was billed, it was a simple mistake - with the state shutdown, I’m sure she was swamped with calls! I called and spoke with Stephanie again, she remembered speaking with me and said she would refund my account & make sure it was frozen this time. Got my refund quickly and all was resolved...
Until May 4, I was charged again. So I called, again I spoke with Stephanie, she said she remembered speaking with me the first 2 times. She asked for my name, and not only did I start the call by telling her my name (because I anticipated her needing it to pull up my account) but I also spelled out my last name because it’s a bit tricky. She instead pulled up my spouse’s account and told me it had been frozen, I told her that it was a mixup and it was mine that needed to be frozen. (turns out my spouse hadn’t been getting charged, but thought it was because the studio had been closed)
I told Stephanie I was unsure as to why my spouses account would be frozen instead of mine, but to please go ahead and make sure my account was being frozen this time. She then IMMEDIATELY insisted it was not me that she spoke with the 2 prior times but my spouse, which is wholly incorrect. I reassured her that it was in-fact me, and this was just a big mixup. She then INSISTED that she “has a great memory” and “she knew who she talked to”. At this point I felt very disrespected, but I have an unreasonable tolerance for this sort of thing - I am a store manager myself and have to diffuse small conflicts like this on a daily basis . So I simply told her again that it was a misunderstanding and it was me that she spoke with. She then had the audacity to tell me that I was wrong but she would refund my account anyway? This was the final straw, I told her I didn’t appreciate being spoken down to and it was inappropriate to imply that I was lying. Why would there be a reason for me to lie about who I am? She then proceeded to tell me she knows it’s not me because my caller ID has my spouses name on it... did she ever stop to think that our family cell phone plan could be under my spouses name? Unfortunately for her, I guess not.... you know what they say about people that ASSUME, well that happened today. After being spoken down to repeatedly, I told her to please cancel mine & my spouses account and that we would not be returning. I reiterated that it was a shame it had to end this way and there was no good reason she had to lose our business - especially after I spent $160 from a month I couldn’t even attend classes because I wanted to support the business. I’m still just absolutely flabbergasted.
**ALSO I got a stress fracture from taking one of their Cardio Sculp jump classes and that is what ultimately resulted in my foot clean breaking. BUT I signed a contract and didn’t push to hold them liable because I think the instructor is sweet although maybe too inexperienced to safely supervise people exercising.**
Pros?
Nice instructors
Clean environment
Cons?
$ and Billing
Though well intentioned, some instructors inexperienced
Not diverse (Not geared toward younger people, men, African Americans or LGBT)
