- LOLeinan OteroFeb 27, 20251.0I firmly believe that the staff working in front desk is the face of any institution. When it comes to check in a patient specially a special needs patient and you get the discrimination look and rude treatment from the front desk staff its really outrageous.the front desk staff girl named "Grace" its been the most rude person AND THE ONLY ONE I've encounter in this clinic. I met her almost a year ago and was relieved when I thought she was not working there anymore but today she was really rude in front of a lot of people. My son is a special needs kid and he was getting ready in the car while a gave her all the information but when I finished she told me that he was not gonna be checked in because my son wasn't there when I explained her taht he was getting ready in the car for transition to a different place.My son is Autistic, but Apparently she doesn't care about others conditions and that Autism is not an easy condition. And we have to be human and consider to others. Specially when kids with special needs can not be trated as everyone else they are called special for a reason. On top of that she requested that I alienated my son from other kids because he could get babies or newborns sick in the area I intended to sit. I explained that my son was not sick anymore but ahe insisted. So I had pleased her.

After seeing other providers, my concerns were validated and my son actually did have all of the things wrong that I was concerned about. Dr. McCorkle’s bedside manner is also severely lacking.
