Since 1983, Eyesight Associates has been providing the citizens of Middle Georgia with innovative, world-class eye care. Founded by DR. JOHNNY GAYTON, the practice now encompasses nine eye care providers in four office locations. The corporate office and state-of-the-art surgical center are located in Warner Robins, Georgia. Eyesight Associates offers optometric and ophthalmologic services for most eye conditions as well as premium surgical procedures. PRK/LASEK (laser vision correction for nearsightedness, farsightedness, and astigmatism), premium lens exchange, laser and traditional cataract procedures, and over-40 vision correction are available to our patients. We are the only practice in Middle Georgia offering laser-assisted CATARACT PROCEDURES, and some procedures used in eye surgery were developed at our own practice. Dr. Gayton has taught eye surgery worldwide and introduced modern cataract surgery to Mongolia and astigmatism correction to both China and Hungary. A full spectrum of optometric services is available, including routine exams and prescriptions for glasses and specialty contact lenses.     Why do make appointments when you overbook and can not see patients in a reasonable time? I had cataract surgery and everything was great. The day after I went back for my surgery follow up. I arrived app 15 minutes before my appointment time and signed in. 1 hour and 20 minutes later I was called back for a test. The young lady doing the test finished in less than 10 minutes, then took me to another waiting room, she explained there were only 2 exam rooms they would get to me when a room becomes available. I sat in that waiting room for another 15 minutes, others in that waiting room were talking about the long waits. I finally got called back to see the optometrist she repeated apologized for my long wait. That exam took maybe 10 minutes. So many medical offices charge a fee if you are late or make you reschedule. This office could care less about your time and the fact that you had to have a driver. Better patient service would go a long way. I am scheduled to have cataract surgery on my.othet eye and my concern is the follow up the day after. My time is important not something for your practice to care less about. App 2 hour wait for app 25 minutes of care and treatment.

    In person, the staff members are consistently friendly and welcoming. However, when I call the business by phone, the receptionists often put me on hold and rarely follow up or return calls. My main goal is usually just to confirm an appointment time, but the lack of consistent communication makes this difficult. I wish they would improve their phone etiquette and responsiveness to better serve clients.

    Had my cataracts removed by Dr. Ducy. Had my.last visit today and have 20/20 vision. I have had nothing but exceptional care here from start to finish. Thank you to all who had a thing to do with my care. Excellent job by all.

    Seen here April 2024. Received call December 2025 stating that I owed a copay balance of $50. Never received ANY other communication by phone or mail that I had a balance, so I asked for an invoice to be mailed to me. What I received in the mail was a statement of account with no information on where to remit payment. Call to make payment and they want to charge me $3 to pay over the phone. Say they will text me a link to pay with no charge. Let’s see if it takes a year and a half to get that link. Edit: I never received the text link to pay. However, I called again and spoke to Alisha Stone who was kind enough to take my payment over the phone with no additional fees. Her professionalism is the only reason that I am increasing my review by one star.

    I had an emergency eye situation. I was able to see Dr Summerow same day I called. My entire experience from check in to check out was nothing less than professional. I will continue to see Dr Summerow for my eye care needs.
