- PFPenny FloydNov 12, 20255.0Been coming to Sumrall Family dental for at least 30 years .About 13 years ago I moved out of area and tried a local dentist. I quickly came back to SFD after a local dentist, during a checkup ,said I had a cracked tooth and needed a crown. I had no pain, so I wanted a second opinion and came back to Dr. Sumrall who said the tooth was fine. After that, I came back to SFD as my permanent dentist even though I drive 70 miles to get there. They treat you as family and I have had some major dental treatments there. I love my hygienist and she treats me as a friend. My experiences with SFD has been the most comfortable and stress-free I have been with any dentist.

They aren’t interested in upselling “treatments” to earn a buck. They really take the time with their patients and treat you like family. They don’t push anything you aren’t comfortable with, and they respect your personal choices in terms of oral health. So long as we’re living in the area, we’ll be using Sumrall’s!

I came here for a cracked tooth and needed a crown, and my hygienist and Dr. were phenomenal. I’ve got really bad dental anxiety but both were so patient and gentle throughout the entire process. My temporary crown didn’t come loose and did a great job until I got my permanent. They color-matched the permanent crown perfectly and made sure it sat right in my bite too. I would recommend Sumrall to anyone looking for a new dentist.
