Awesome folks. For several years I was told nothing could be done for my condition. After one visit to Georgia Ete Associates, I had a definitive plan of action and explanations for everything.

Do not go to take your child to this practice. Dr. R left my 8 year old in tears after we waited for 50 minutes to be seen by an optician for a contact lens fitting, only to be left halfway through for her to attend to another patient. We had to stay past closing, but were probably only seen for a total of 20 minutes by any staff. Dr R rudely told me I had scheduled my son’s appointment incorrectly (this was our second time trying to be seen for contacts… once I made the appointment in person. The second time I did it online. Apparently both are wrong.) and then turned us away for being in the office past closing. When I reminded her that we had been on time but not seen timely she retorted that I should “do the math and figure out the average” since they had stayed open.
Again this is my second time trying to have my child seen for contacts. And it still was not resolved. And my child was left crying feeling like he did something incorrect. Dr. R should not see child patients if she cannot handle them in child friendly terms. The staff should make clear how to make appropriate arrangements for the appointment needed, because apparently it’s not right when I ask and follow instruction in person nor is it correct when I make an appointment online. Beyond a doubt the most unprofessional treatment I have dealt with, and that’s saying a lot as many doctors and physicians are not great with bedside manner. Today took the cake. Look elsewhere if you want to be seen timely and treated with any courtesy or respect.

My experience with this office was slow, disorganized, and expensive, even with vision insurance. Dr C was fine, but there's almost always a long wait for the optician. The day I was there there was a fill in optician, and she didn't know how any of the processes worked or where anything was. I picked out some frames, showed her a pair of amber sunglasses I have that I like, and said I wanted a pair with shading just like them but a couple of shades darker. She insisted that I needed gray not amber, so I just went with it because I'd been there for about 2 hours at that point and I was ready to GO. It took weeks for them to come in because the lab apparently made a mistake and had to start over, and then when I finally went to pick them up, guess what? They were no darker than the other ones I have. The regular optician was there and she is borderline rude/condescending. They sent them back to darken them up and when they came back they were maybe only a half shade darker. I gave up and just took them. On top of all that, there were a lot of extra costs. I've never had an eye doctor charge extra for a refraction (vision) exam, but they do, an extra nearly $80 not covered by insurance, and they don't have any glasses under $500 apparently so I ended up having to pay an extra $80 on top of my insurance for those as well. Lastly, Dr C gave me 2 trial pairs of contacts with different prescriptions for monovision and told me to use whichever one I liked the best. I ordered the contacts online using the prescription on the box and they worked fine. However, when I went to reorder the company wanted a hard copy of the prescription, but apparently the doctor had never actually written in the chart what he gave me and the office sent in the wrong prescription. Now I'll have to send that order back when it arrives and reorder with the correct prescription. I won't be going back.
