  Dr. Hanling didn't seem particularly interested in actually improving my quality of life or listening to my concerns. At my first appointment his recommendation was to take me off the only medication that allows me to not be bedbound from pain that I've been taking for years without issue from another prescriber. (After trialing dozens of medications). When asked what his plan was to replace it short term while we trail other treatments he told me he wasn't going to, even after I explained that I'm 100% bedbound without the little pain relief I have. He diagnosed me with "kinseophobia, a fear of movement" after I explained being bedbound from pain, despite me telling him outright that I'm not afraid to move or afraid of falling and heavily pushed therapy as if it were practically a total cure. He also gave me inaccurate information that isn't supported by current studies or medicine, saying that "opioid medications are proven to not work in patients without cancer" and citing the study about chronic opioid use causing the condition that icreases reactions to painful stimulus, despite that condition being both exceedingly rare and 100% obviously not the case for me because the medication provides me relief. He seems too caught up in dea fear mongering and politics to actually treat patients' pain and I would not recommend him for chronic pain patients actually looking for relief and accurate information about their care.

  I will never go back there, he treated me like I was nothing,and told me I wasn't in pain cause he could read my MRI,

  My doctor has sent 2 referrals to this place in the last 2 weeks. No one ever answers or returns voice-mails! Their hours say they are open till 5pm on Friday and here it is 1:20pm and it's says I've called outside of normal hours.
