Peach Dermatology was amazing. Beginning with the sweet person that answered the phone. They scheduled me the very next day. When I arrived, they were efficient and as soon as I finished my paperwork on the iPad, they brought me back. Peyton’s assistant listen carefully to everything I had to say, and relayed the message to Peyton so she knew what was going on before she came in the room. When Peyton came in the room. She took So much time to listen to what I had to say, even if she had already heard it. She was extremely attentive and thorough. Peyton came up with a definitive treatment plan and communicated it very clearly. I’m so happy that I chose to go to Peach Dermatology, and even happier that I chose to see Peyton.

Like the reviewer below mentioned, I don’t understand how this place has so many positive reviews—it makes me question their authenticity. This was a really disappointing experience. I went in for hair loss and saw Dr. Waqas Shaikh, but he mostly told me things I already knew. The visit felt very rushed—he kept it brief and prescribed medication without much discussion. After reviewing the paper they gave me and looking online, I saw the medication carries an increased risk of high-grade prostate cancer, which was never mentioned (I feel like that's pretty important). I tried calling the office multiple times afterwards but couldn’t get through—just received texts saying they’d call back. Overall, I paid $400 (with insurance) for a 5 minute visit that didn’t give me any real clarity. Since hair loss isn’t common in my family, I was hoping to understand whether my hair loss could be something serious. I’m not even sure my pharmacy received the prescription since I never got my usual notification. Also, pretty sure the doctor was passing gas throughout the whole appointment. I’ve canceled my follow-up and won’t be returning.

This is an honest review for anyone considering this office. If I could give zero stars, I would. I genuinely don’t understand how this practice has so many positive reviews, it makes me question how those reviews are being obtained. My appointment was scheduled for 11:00 AM. I waited about 40 minutes in the waiting room, then was taken to a room where I waited another 40 minutes before the doctor came in. Over an hour of waiting with no communication or acknowledgment. I will say, the only positive part of this experience was the front desk staff. They were very kind, apologetic, and clearly aware that long wait times are a recurring issue here, which says a lot in itself. When Dr. Shaikh finally came in, he rushed in without introducing himself and immediately gave off a dismissive, hurried energy. His bedside manner was extremely poor. He stood behind me rather than engaging face-to-face, which made it uncomfortable to even discuss my concerns. I came in with multiple issues: facial redness/itching, a bump on my scalp, skin tags, and hair loss. Instead of a thorough evaluation, everything felt rushed and incomplete. When I asked questions, he often didn’t answer them directly and seemed uninterested in explaining anything. The most concerning part was the skin tag removal. I was told it would be $150 for 10, and I clearly stated I had more than that and was most concerned about the larger ones. Despite that, he removed smaller, barely noticeable ones and left a large one behind, then told me I’d have to come back and pay another $150 to remove more. After I expressed that I wanted the larger ones removed, he shifted the blame to me, saying I should have pointed them out. That’s unrealistic, I don’t have eyes in the back of my head. As the provider, I would expect him to guide that process, especially after I clearly communicated my concern. The procedure itself was also much more painful than expected. I’ve had skin tags removed twice before and it was quick with minimal discomfort. This time, I could literally hear them being cut off, and several bled significantly, requiring bandaging, something I’ve never experienced before. On top of that, my other concerns, like hair loss and dry skin, were brushed off with “we can talk about that next time.” After already waiting over an hour, being told to come back (and pay again) for basic concerns felt completely unacceptable. There was no reason those couldn’t have been addressed during the same visit. Overall, this experience felt unprofessional, rushed, and financially driven rather than patient-focused. It honestly felt more like a med spa focused on upselling than a legitimate dermatology practice. I would not recommend this office to anyone looking for thorough, ethical, or compassionate care.

I had a wonderful experience with Peyton Cohen PA-C. She was incredibly helpful, answered all my questions, and was very kind. The receptionist was also exceptionally kind, from the moment she made my appointment until I checked out. I wish I could remember her name, but she had a heart tattoo and she was truly wonderful! Thank you both for your excellent service!

I brought my kids to peach derm as a recommendation from a friend. I'm so glad we came here! We saw Dr. Shaikh and he was great. He took the time to carefully assess my kids and their skin. After that, he thoroughly reviewed the plan of care with me and answered all questions. The front office and nursing staff eer also friendly and knowledgeable. I would recommend this to anyone looking for dermatologic care. Another bonus, the waiting rooms, bathrooms, and exam room were all very clean!
