THEY LOST MY PRESCRIPTION
This began on a Friday. CVS wouldn’t have my medicine until Tuesday so I had them transfer the prescription to this Kroger. Minutes later I called Kroger. They had received my prescription and it’d be ready in about an hour. It was not. I called Saturday and it wasn’t ready.
The phone tag began.
I think it was Sunday when I called and was promised a callback that never came. Two or three times I had to leave a voicemail. At some point I was told that maybe I’d sent it to a different Kroger and they would check for me; Of course they did not find it at another Kroger. I still called CVS and confirmed which Kroger my prescription had been sent to.
During one of several calls on Monday (Labor Day) I was told that they had NO RECORD of my prescription. They lost my prescription! After another round of phone tag without my prescription materializing I gave up. By this time CVS was closing in about two hours. I called my doctor, had to wait for a callback, and my doctor had to send a new prescription to CVS. Thirty minutes later I was walking out of CVS, medicine in hand.
I DID get a callback from Kroger. On Tuesday. The person who called said my name, birth date, and the name of the medicine, so apparently they HAD received the original prescription.
