I had the absolute worst experience here and this wasn't the first time! I appreciate getting reminders about my appointments but damn, they call you, email you and text you reminding you to be there 20 minutes early to fill out paperwork. My appointment was at 250 p.m. and I arrived at 210 p.m., signed in and filled out my paperwork which took all of 3 minutes. Went around this little corner and gave other info about myself and got signed up for my chart, which took another 2 to 3 minutes. I go back to the waiting room and I waited! Ladies that were there before me were seen and had left, ladies that came in with we were seen and left and the ladies that came in after me were seen and left. At this point I got questions. I go to the counter and ask if mammograms are the only thing thats done out of that office and the receptionist said no we do osteoporosis screening and a few other things. I said, "ok because I've been here at that point 15 minutes after my scheduled appointment time." She asked my name and said someone would get to me. I sat down again, about 5 minutes later someone comes out the back and takes another patient in the back and the receptionist tells her my last name and she keeps walking in the back. A few minutes later its 315 p.m. and I go to the counter and ask the same receptionist who is supposed to take my paperwork. She tells me to hold onto it because they are going to take it from me when someone takes me in the back for my mammogram. I said, "mo ma'am you're gonna take it because I've already been here early like ya'll told me to be and 25 minutes past my scheduled appointment". I left out the door and headed for the elevator. Today I receive a call from the Department of Veterans Affairs telling me that there were notes on my file from that day stating that I can to the appointment but then I just left. What I want Piedmont Henry Breast Health Center and its staff to understand is this: stop lying on patients, provide customer service effectively, if you do not have enough staff to handle patients stop making more appointments than your staff can handle, if you can't or won't do your job please move aside and allow someone else to do it and more importantly WHY WOULD YOU LIE ON ME WHEN YOU KNOW THERE ARE CAMERAS THROUGHOUT THE BUILDING? More than anything I want to speak with management because this facility owes me an apology (that I may never get), and we need a resolution behind this situation.
