  I had my first appointment with him in Nov of 2025. It went fine. Nervous of course but nothing major. He continued to say something about "the boy cried wolf" and ignored him. Today in Jan 8 2025 I had my second root canal with him. It was not pleasant. He did not put nearly as much numbing as he did on my first tooth. He did not do the dry ice test. And I had an active infection. (I had a hot tooth). I could still feel the vibrations of his tools in my jaw and near my ear. Im jittering, im grunting trying not to move and whiles drilling my tooth down the pain shoots to my jaw. I am literally screaming my butt off, im telling him please stop you are hurting me! He says " how do I know that hurts when everytime i touch you you move?" well for one, im telling you, IT HURTS, I AM SCREAMING AT YOU, I AM KICKING IN MY CHAIR. I am telling you YOU ARE HURTING ME. Yes, I am nervous, no I don't like the vibrations, but you are HURTING ME. He did not care. He went slower, I could still feel him. But I am happy my both of my teeth are fixed and I can finally eat my sunflower seeds. I am giving this place 2 stars because the ladies at the front desk were nice.

  It has been a little over a month since my visit. I was still doing my onboarding for my current job and funds were low. But it didn't matter due to their flexible payment options. After 2 dentist visits where I left with more questions and remained in blinding excruciating pain, my hopes were low but I went in hoping a specialist would be able to figure something out, even if it was costly. I went in thinking I had a bad root canal (dental hygienist's opinion), turns out I'm a teeth grinder at night. The Doc came in, we had a short conversation and he filed my crown down that he expected was causing the pain and almost instantly I felt an insane amount of relief. I didn't realize it but all the pressure of biting was being put on that one crown, I had ground down my natural teeth on that side. That night I actually slept the whole night, no tears, no headaches, the first night of decent sleep I had in weeks. Also, I can't forget to mention all of the staff was super nice and sweet to the point where if I had more time in my busy schedule I'd legit drive out of my way to drop them off a basket of goodies. I'm forever grateful to Dr. Shephard and his team. I'm hoping its not too soon, but if I had any issues and need to see an endodontist again, I will definitely return to this office.

  The perfect experience. My appointment was set easily and quickly by very friendly staff. The office was clean and pleasant. Dr Shepherd and his staff were exceedingly knowledgeable and competent in my care. I felt safe and cared for throughout my procedure. My root canal was accomplished in no time at all, and really felt like no big deal. I stressed over nothing. I will never go anywhere else and would recommend Dr Shepherd to everyone. Besides all that good news... his price for the procedure was the best price around.

  I called on a Monday and they were able to squeeze me in on Wednesday. Jessica at the front office was great, Dr Shepherd was thorough and the assistant was sweet. The only thing that annoyed the mess out of me was I had an appt for an extraction on Friday and I called all day Thursday requesting an email for my X-rays to send to the other facility but Dr Shepherds office never sent the email and I had to push my extraction back another week. Talk about PISSED! Anywho hope I never have to come back but if I do I would possibly consider this office again.

  LOOK NO FURTHER!!! He is the best of the best! His staff is also AMAZING! He makes a very unpleasant thing, not unpleasant at all. I have had several root canals here and have always been very happy.
