This place is horrible. I literally went in for a sickle cell crisis. The charge nurse is very rude. Very disrespectful. Their nurses do not have any respect for patience. They’re very lazy. They don’t come check on. You don’t do your vitals. This hospital needs to be closed down or just get a brand new staff for Night Shift. This is on a Saturday for 4/
11 trying to see who was the charge. I don’t see the name here, but it is horrible. The doctor was the only person I had since other than that it’s horrible.
I went in for severe lower back pain. The doctor and student doctor were thorough. Dr Disbrow made sure to explain what was going on and confirm his findings. He also insisted I make my oncologist aware of the visit asap. The first nurse was great. She walked in the room and announced herself immediately(we could not remember her name, she was awesome)The second nurse came in out of no where and was short and a little abrasive. When she administered two shots she gave them, unannounced, I then jumped , caught myself, while she told be to, "be still", and gave me yet another shot. My daughter tried to get the nurses name but she's wasn't able to see a name badge. She then just left the room with no follow up. When she gave me my discharge paperwork, my family asked a question, that she did not return to confirm, so after waiting a few minutes we decided to go ahead and leave the room. While I waited for my daughter to pull the car around, I asked the nurse a question, while she did answer, she never looked away from what she was doing to make eye contact. That wasn't the best experience I've had with Piedmont. I'm not sure if this location gets a separate set of training requirements but I did not have the same quality of "customer care", I have experienced so far in my treatment journey. ..........And because I did not get a patient survey, is the reason I'm writing this review. Healthcare is an EXTREMELY important service, IF YOU DON'T LOVE WHAT YOU DO, DON'T SPREAD YOUR NEGATIVE ENERGY.

This staff was very unprofessional, my friend and I went to this hospital because she was having some pain in her kidney area and she pregnant. They are not clean . They put us in a room that a lady was JUST puking her brains out, they didn’t clean it and or spray the room so when we walked in there we asked the lady can you spray the room or something please her response “we don’t do that unless it gets messy” we didn’t even sit down in that room. I feel as tho they didn’t take her seriously the brushed her off we sat there for 6 hours just for them to transfer her to another hospital to get an ultrasound . They put a needle in her and about an hour later her arm started to swell up and have bruising because it was put in wrong . One of the nurse was rushing her out the bathroom so he can so what needed to do . It’s the next day and I feel like crap I have body aches ,Headaches, can’t eat , chills and a swollen throat. I highly recommend no one goes here .
Horrible, I went here and the lady before me in the vital room was very sick, coughing, throwing up , sneezing, grunting, and ect.. when the lady called me next right after sending her out I asked if she could lysol the room, her response was “ we’re a hospital we DO NOT carry lysol we have medical supplies for professional use, i responded “ okay well can we use that or something to clean out the chair that the woman was just sitting in, she replied “ we are not allowed to clean the vital room only the room you go to in the back, and we can’t wipe anything down with sanitary wipes”. Ok next after that i get to the back the man is very nice and sweet so that was good but after some one else came in with him she was sweet as well but i was never informed she was an student until after the fact once she had already worked on me. After her doing my IV i noticed my arm was stinging really bad and i could not bend or use my arm, i had to use the rest room and could not move my arm so i had to get my friend to help and while she was helping me i noticed my arm was swollen and inflamed , the doctor man came in there and took it out and informed me she was a student and must of not known what she was doing. Today my arm is now still swollen with a lump / knot and my vein is on top of the knot still bleeding. Furthermore my friend that went with me to the hospital haves informed me she is very sick today, and have the same symptoms the woman had (we know her symptoms because of what they were discussing out loud, and the woman was right there).
