  So I did enjoy my stay. They helped me recover and get the help I needed when it came to ADHD, OCD, Bipolar, anxiety, and clinical depression. They helped me reach my normal baseline. To feel normal again without any suicidal thoughts or ideations after discharge and only felt sick on discharge day due to side effects from the medications that were subscribed to me. The nurses I had were amazing they were so kind and helpful. I luckily had a good experience and the food and sweet tea was amazing because I remember saying as the patient that Walton county Piedmont had nothing on them with the sweet tea. I just do know the nurses, social worker, and doctor those that I had were amazing and good at what they do with patients like me that were mostly at risk for harming themselves but would never harm anyone they did make me feel understood and as a person instead of subhuman so I felt comfortable being open and honest. Since the trust was built and now due to these people I have an amazing psychiatrist, therapist, and case manager. The only thing I did not like was not being in constant communication with my friends and family but I was able to communicate with some just not all like I needed. I do also want to thank Dr wright for what he did for me the plan works long term like it’s supposed to. Overall I had a good stay and it felt like a vacation. I know it made me love watching shows and movies again, music, coloring, journaling, reading, and puzzles. Thank you for helping me.

  Negative stars if I could. This place not helpful at all with treating me for postpartum psychosis/depression. If you love your friends or family dont go here. Workers are verbally and physically abusive and when I tried talking to anyone about it I was called the crazy one. I was physically held down and had my head slammed off the wall for asking what the medication was I was getting injected with. As the patient you have the right to know. After hitting the back of my head I blacked out. I let the nurse desk know that the evening shift hit my head off the wall and I needed medical treatment for it and it went ignored as if I was crazy. I suffered a concussion from it and vision and memory issues. The people that I had were so heartless. Please find somewhere better for your family and friends that will actually help instead of cause lifelong trauma.

  Poor customer service. Switchboard operators don’t seem to care about patients being connected to family. They hang up on you and think it’s cool. Don’t bring your friends or family here.
