  Anna was very kind, efficient and answered all the questions that I asked her. All of the employees/staff are cheerful and are ready to help you in any way they can. Anna is a new employee but she fits in with everyone in the office at Savannah Perio. Great group of people. Thank you Anna, Pat and Mark

  Update : Thank you for an educational and fun check-up Dr. Young, and for your Wisdom (not as in tooth) and kindness! Thank you Michelle for your teaching skills, and kindness. Thank you front office ( shout out to Heather❣️) for ALL and I mean ALL for being the BEST! I will say it again : this IS a well run and highly professional office. Focus is on the care and best treatment possible of the patient in a caring and compassionate environment. They are trustworthy. They just met me, and aren’t paying me for this review- haha - They are just THAT great! Let’s begin with Darlene! She should be given an award for the absolute highest level of professionalism, helpfulness, and kindness that exists for a superior front desk office employee. The Gold Star of Excellence! She was incredibly kind to me this week when I felt pretty lost navigating a new scary tooth problem in a new state, and am so grateful for her being there and available in her busy day to spend time with a stranger on the phone when I was beginning to think no one else cared much . I kinda still think she’s an Angel?? 😇🤗☺️❣️I understand that people are busy these days and jaded from life but this lady is truly the gold standard of good old fashioned front office love and care! She is not on a front office power trip and would take the time to consult with the Doctor - I know -whenever needed. THEN, I had the opportunity to meet Megan and Lucy and was surprised to learn that this office operates as a fine tuned team and it warmed my 2024 jaded heart ! Who hires here? WOW! Now, I am thinking let’s meet the Doc and in comes one of the most knowledgeable, professional, and kind teachers I have ever met! Dr. Rawlings communicated like no other and spent time explaining in detail what was going on with my tooth and what was required to fix it and how antibiotics work in the dental profession. I honestly don’t need to be babysat but this situation needed more explanation for me, and he sure did provide. He was willing to meet with me when I could not seem to get in anywhere else on Earth - haha. Any other situation I understand we ALL have to wait our turn but when the word “infection” is mentioned to me accompanied by not knowing how long it was living and spreading I realized I needed to advocate a bit for myself. I thought I was kinda alone out there until I googled and researched a little and with a little help from above reached Darlene. Also, I would be remiss not to mention Nicole -Dr. A. Rawlings assistant. She was so nice and pleasant. A calming presence in the room also professional and knowledgeable! Anyway, thank you to Google too and the entire Savannah Perio TEAM!!! Do not hesitate to give them a call!

  My review is based on a consultation. I was referred to them for implants. Always ask what the cost will be before you agree on anything. They wanted to get my xays done before I left and that would have cost me a bit more than I'm willing to pay for a place I'm not going back to. I understand the specialize in periodontal desase. It was not the cost of what it could be that turned me away... it was the fact that "I went for an oil change and was recommended a bunch of other work". I understand their concern for my gums... but I went in for a complete different issue. I don't have use of my front teeth and they recommended my 2 wisdom teeth to be pulled... I don't have issues with my wisdom teeth... and they wanted 2 types of xrays... a lot of other things were in the spotlight before their concern that I can't even bite into lettuce. If you are worried about your gum health, this is your place... you just want implants, this is not your place. Also, having a bad experience patient that doesn't want "the works" doesn't excuse how he ignored his front receptionist Megan. Megan is a great personality. She did amazing.

  Dr. Young and his staff are so kind, helpful and thorough. He took time to speak to me, to get to know me and explain the procedure to me. I am so grateful.

  I went to Savannah Perio and Implants for about 3 years while living in Savannah. They were great to work with! The doctors are very knowledgeable and go above and beyond. I had a jaw surgery and Dr. Rawlings even called to check up on me afterwards and make sure I was feeling ok. The hygienists are all really nice and do a great job with the cleanings. I would highly recommend them!
