At Physicians Footcare, our patients are like family. So, we’re always mindful to make sure our office environment is welcoming, friendly, and safe every time you visit. We treat a wide array of foot and ankle conditions such as heel pain, diabetic issues, wound care, sprains, fractures, ingrown nails, and more. We also offer shoe inserts and other orthotic treatment devices as well. You come first with us. And everything we do is with you in mind: to relieve your pain, get you back on your feet, and get you back into life.
I’d leave ZERO stars if I could!! First of all, this appt was a referral so they were supposed to call me to schedule but never did. I had to contact the referring Dr to get the information and then call myself. Setting up the appointment was a headache because, obviously, they outsource to some other country. So we kept going back and forth finally I had to ask them to spell things out. Prior to the appt they needed a copy of our insurance card to go ahead and add it on file, so I sent all of that to them.
Now the appointment—
It was scheduled for 3:30 but we arrived at 3:33 (due to taking a wrong exit as I’m not familiar with Savannah). Immediately after we walked in the door—without saying hello, or even asking our names—the receptionist stops me from signing in and tells me “we’re not going to have any time to see her today because you needed to be here early to fill out paper work.”
Mind you…this was after me driving for 45 minutes to get here. This was also a referral…they should have already either requested or been sent her records from the referring Dr. Not to mention they never once offered to email me this paperwork to fill out prior like most places do these days.
I totally understand that it was my fault for being 3 minutes late, but I have NEVER been turned away from an appt with being only 3 minutes late EVER!!
I myself have worked in healthcare for over 20 years…I can promise you, if we organize our schedule so that appointments are so back to back and we can’t afford a patient to be +\-5 minutes….we’d be in constant chaos and eventually our patients would go elsewhere!!
If this woman already knew that’s what she was going to tell me she could’ve called me just as easily as the previous 10 times she called me back to back asking for my insurance information!!!
Not to mention there was literally ONE other person in the waiting room. ONE!!
So yeah, to your management or whoever runs this business:
1. If treating an ingrown toe foot a teenager is so necessary prior to treatment…to that point that I couldn’t have just finished before leaving or while waiting in the treatment room…. Then maybe you ought to send them by email or via online after scheduling!!
2. If your schedule is such that you have to turn away patients upon arriving 3 minutes late…who are taking off work, having to drive who knows how long (though, for me it was an 1.5 HOURS there and back) then you should also be clear about that up front as well, clearly telling people “If you’re late, by even a minute, we will not be seeing you” that could very well save them valuable time by preventing them from continuing to drive there!!!
3. Clean your building or put in some air freshener!

This place is a joke. The office looks run down. The front office staff is rude. They talk to you as if you’re an idiot and offer no help. I wouldn’t go here again if my foot was falling off.
