Everyone that works there knows my wife and I by name and they are always nice to us and gives us the best advice, we changed grocery shopping to another store and still pick up our meds at the one on MacAlpin Square at Victory Dr, we appreciate them.

Pharmacist that works at this location is extremely unprofessional. I don’t even know his name because when he answered the phone he mumbled “*unknown words* Kroger pharmacy” .... I was calling from another pharmacy and this pharmacist stated the name of the patient right when I announced where I was calling from. Pharmacist did not ask me to verify date of birth or give any sort of important information to make sure I was legitimate before he began ranting. (Its ok, HIPPA isn’t too serious these days) .... I was calling pharmacy to better understand a situation with a mutual patient. Mutual patient had already told me prior to speaking to Kroger that he has felt harassesed by pharmacist. When I mentioned what I was wanting, pharmacist interrupted me, questioned our policies as a pharmacy and then began badgering me as I was explaining our policies because he did not like the answers. I attempted to get off phone because my question had been answered based off of his attitude. I was not calling to ask about this pharmacist’s opinions, I was calling to clear up a situation so I could clearly communicate the issue to the patient. I attempted to transfer pharmacist to my pharmacist for further assistance because he wouldnt let it go, but I needed to collect some information from Kroger first in order to track the conversation he was about to have with my pharmacist. Pharmacist stated as a fact that I “did not be need that information” so I had to deny him from speaking with pharmacist. He didn’t believe me. Had pharmacist listened and explained in a calm manner, the issue would have been cleared up immediately and I would have informed the patient of Kroger’s policy. I believe pharmacist would benefit from some training on how to put his emotions and pride to the side and focus on what needs to be accomplished. Thank you.
