For several years I went to an expensive dental practice on the Islands that seemed mostly interested in maximizing profits, and 3-D printing crappy crowns that don't even last a year. I asked my DDS for a "reverse" referral, and was, thankfully, sent to Dr. Groover. Right away I felt like he actually cared. 1) Dr. Groover cares, and explained everything he was going to do thoroughly; 2) He used enough novocaine, but not SO MUCH that my face was rubbery and itchy for hours and hours afterwards; 3) The crown that was made was by far the best I have ever had. I have had 4 crowns made by 3 different dentists over the years, and Dr. Groover's is the best shaped, the best feeling, and the best looking. It's not even close. Honestly, I wish I had known to come to him for the others; 4) The cost was reasonable. At my last dentist, I felt like I was being ripped off every time. Not here. Even the thing they put in my mouth to hold the X-ray film didn't cut or hurt, like at every other place. If you are looking for a new dentist, you have found them.
