My wife went to pick up a prescription for our 7 month old for an ear infection. They said it would be 30 minutes. When she pulled back around the drive-thru window was closed 30 mins before the pharmacy closes(no mention of the drive thru window closing early on the website). She called them because she didn’t want to get the sleeping 7-month old with ear infection out of the car. They refused to hand her the prescription thru the window and then backtracked saying that they didn’t even have the drops in stock. She then asked if they could transfer her prescription to another 24-hr pharmacy across town. It didn’t sound like they knew how to do that. She had to go back to the Wellstar to get them to send it to another pharmacy. Kroger also told her that the drops were not covered under insurance and would be $140. The Wellstar confirmed that the drops are covered under our insurance. Kroger needs to get it together. People have rough days and I get it, but this was a fail on multiple levels.

call in a refill, receive call that it's ready, arrive to pick it up, wait in super long lines, only to be told it's not actually ready. they seriously have signs taped up asking customers not to yell at the staff because they don't want to lose them. at this point I don't see the difference between having zero staff and a staff of zeros. harsh, yes...true, also yes. Kroger should stick with just groceries.
