My wife went to pick up a prescription for our 7 month old for an ear infection. They said it would be 30 minutes. When she pulled back around the drive-thru
window was closed 30 mins before the pharmacy closes(no mention of the drive thru window closing early on the website). She called them because she didn’t want to get the sleeping 7-month old with ear infection out of the car. They refused to hand her the prescription thru the window and then backtracked saying that they didn’t even have the drops in stock. She then asked if they could transfer her prescription to another 24-hr pharmacy across town. It didn’t sound like they knew how to do that. She had to go back to the Wellstar to get them to send it to another pharmacy. Kroger also told her that the drops were not covered under insurance and would be $140. The Wellstar confirmed that the drops are covered under our insurance. Kroger needs to get it together. People have rough days and I get it, but this was a fail on multiple levels.

I had a very frustrating experience with Kroger’s pharmacy. My doctor faxed in my prescription, but when I went to pick it up, the pharmacy staff told me they hadn’t received anything and that it could take up to 45 minutes for it to come through.
To double-check, I went back to my doctor’s office, where they confirmed the fax had already been received by Kroger — and even provided me with a printed copy and a fax confirmation showing it was delivered before I ever spoke to the pharmacy.
When I brought the proof back, instead of acknowledging the mistake, Kroger told me it would take another hour to fill my prescription — which made no sense, since it wasn’t even a custom medication but a prepackaged box.
In the end, the only reason my prescription was processed was because I did all the extra legwork myself. The lack of communication and accountability from the staff wasted a lot of my time and left me feeling completely dissatisfied.

20% of my prescription came in as partial pills. Pharmacy manager said there is nothing they can do then walked away from me as we were talking. Do not go here if you actually want all of your medication.
