Been waiting a week for my prescription. During that week, apparently my insurance told them I need a prior authorization to fill. Does anyone contact me? Of course not. So now I am going to have to go another week without my medications because of your screw up, but hey, your sorry.

Usually the customer service at the Kroger pharmacy is pretty good. Today, when I had questions about my prescriptions it seemed like the pharmacy technician was bothered because I needed her assistance. She was very curt.

The WORST CUSTOMER service ever. I will NEVER come back for mine nor my family members medicine. I will be calling corporate Monday to file a formal complaint. If you want a small hometown service this isn't it!!!!!! Both ladies in the pharmacy have been rude each and every single time I've come. To the pharmacy, if you dont love customer service or your job you should quit!!! I'm over your attitudes and i dont have to support this pharmacy just because its convenient to me. I will drive another 15 miles before I deal with you and your staff again. Corporate will handle you.

Once again your Pharmacy is unable to complete a simple prior authorization request.
Husband new insurance started 07/01/ 2025. we updated the insurance information on 07/01/2025. We were told several times that they had sent the request but NEVER told that it had not gone through. I physically went to Kroger and inquired about it on 07/02 and was told it was sent and we are just waiting on the doctors office. Something told me to call the doctors office and guess what? They had not received anything. So I went back into the Pharmacy and spoke with Erin who was very helpful. He gave me a print out that I took to doctors office. 07/03 I called Kroger see if they had received anything from doctors office, NO. So I went back up to Kroger and called the Nephrologist while in Kroger because the doctor office said Kroger needs to provide a key code, but the tech lady helping said she doesn't know what that is. The head pharmacist I dont know her name also doesnt know what this key code is. I spent 30 minutes on the phone in Kroger going back and forth back in forth with Kroger telling me it wasnt thier responsibility and the doctor telling us it is Kroger responsibility to start the Prior Authorization request.
The tech lady stated several times that the "cover my meds portal" was not working for my husbands account.
The doctors office needed a key code.
I came home after all that frustration to find that a
"Request Key on covermymeds fax is your link to an online PA."
"For healthcare providers using CoverMyMeds for prior authorizations, the "Request Key" found on a faxed document is a crucial piece of information that connects a pharmacy-initiated request to your online portal. This alphanumeric code, typically six to eight characters long, allows you to access and complete a prior authorization that has already been started.
When a pharmacy receives a prescription that requires prior authorization, they can initiate the process through CoverMyMeds. This action often generates a fax sent to the prescribing physician's office. This fax will contain the essential "Request Key."
To utilize the Request Key, you will need to:
Log in to your CoverMyMeds account.
Locate the "Enter Key" or a similar option, which is commonly found on the main dashboard, often on the left-hand side of the screen.
Enter the Request Key from the faxed document, along with the patient's last name and date of birth as they appear on the fax.
Upon entering this information, you will be taken to the specific prior authorization request, which will likely be pre-populated with the patient and medication details provided by the pharmacy. Your office can then complete the necessary clinical information and submit the request electronically to the patient's insurance plan. This process streamlines the prior authorization by eliminating the need for manual data entry of information the pharmacy has already provided."
Seems pretty straightforward to me! Filing a Formal complaint.
