While my doctor is amazing, the office’s communication is definitely on the slower side.

Regular staff was great but I’m not happy with the primary care doctor I saw for my yearly physical. Just because I’m a chatty person, I made the remark that I was doing my own rehab for my shoulder impingement, and said “yeah it hurts a little but I’ve really worked out that fascia tissue in my back. This dude said nothing, but billed my insurance saying he provided “consultation for my shoulder injury and my supposed to be free visit costed me $90 out of pocket. Just squeezing people and their insurances dry through polite conversation and it’s just so frustrating. Make sure to just answer in yes and no questions at your check up if you go here

I was doing some work around the house and ended up with a pretty fat piece of debris in my eye that was causing the most annoying foreign object sensation I’ve ever had. I walked in, made my appointment, and was taken into the back earlier than my appointment was scheduled. This was such a relief. I was given numbing drops, the object was removed, and the doctor used a dye to check my eye for any abrasions. I was lucky enough to not have damaged my eye. I was given antibiotic drops just in case. 0 complaints from me

My experience with PEDMOD was deeply concerning and ultimately unsafe. During my visit, Ryan failed to properly assess or test me and misdiagnosed my condition. Instead of conducting appropriate on-site evaluation, the situation escalated unnecessarily to the point where the police were called on me, which was extremely distressing and inappropriate given that I was experiencing a medical issue.
Shortly after this encounter, I had to seek care elsewhere and was admitted to Emory Hospital, where I finally received proper testing and learned what was actually wrong with me. This confirmed that my condition had not been handled correctly at PEDMOD.
Despite this, I still returned to PEDMOD on another day, trying to give the practice another chance. Unfortunately, during that visit I was treated unfairly by Shelly MP, who made biased and inappropriate comments toward me, including assumptions about my health and medications. I felt judged, disrespected, and treated poorly rather than cared for as a patient.
While I considered continuing with this practice at one point, based on the lack of proper assessment, the involvement of law enforcement instead of medical care, and the biased treatment I experienced, I would never return and do not recommend this practice to others.

I am sharing a deeply concerning experience at the Arbor Springs location in Newnan. I arrived with my minor child at 7:25 p.m. and completed the necessary paperwork. While discussing an unexpected $299 insurance hold with the front desk staff Sarah, a nurse named Amie abruptly intervened, raising her voice and falsely accusing me of being rude, despite a calm and respectful conversation.
Instead of focusing on my child’s medical needs, Amie escalated the situation, and another nurse, Shannon, joined in. Both began loudly calling for police involvement over a routine insurance question. The environment quickly became hostile and distressing, especially considering a minor child was involved. Their behavior was completely unprofessional and inappropriate for a healthcare setting.
I spoke with the office manager, Deanna, by phone during the incident. She remained professional and attempted to resolve the situation, but both Aimee and Shannon disregarded her authority and continued escalating the conflict.
Fortunately, the provider, Angela, stepped in and immediately stopped the inappropriate behavior, ensuring my child received timely medical attention. I’m also grateful to Nurse Mason, who showed kindness and professionalism and helped bring calm to the situation.
While I appreciate the care provided by Angela and Mason, the conduct displayed by Amie and Shannon was unacceptable and should be addressed to ensure no other patients are treated this way.
