  Staff always goes above and beyond helping my wife and I with our prescriptions. I go out of my way to come here over other pharmacy's in the area

  The pharmacist initially refused to fill the prescription, claiming that my doctor’s office was “50 miles away.” After I clarified and proved this was not accurate, the pharmacist then stated she was “not comfortable” filling the prescription, without providing any valid medical, legal, or documented reason. As a 35-year-old Black male, I believe I was subjected to discriminatory treatment. The shifting justifications (“distance” followed by “not comfortable”) were inconsistent and not applied in good faith. Federal law requires pharmacists to make refusal decisions based on legitimate safety or legal concerns, not subjective or discriminatory reasoning.
