- HJHELEN JAMESDec 30, 20253.0I had two types of eye insurance one with a free exam. They charged me anyways a $35 deductible stating that I had to take their eye health imaging. I informed them that I see a specialist at Emory for my eye health issue, they told me that I had to have their eye health imaging there as well and they charged me the extra $35 so they could charge my insurance for this extra service. Once the examination was over they sent me out to choose glasses. Thet were pricey even with two eye insurances. Although the glasses were pricey, the sales person Julia was awesome to work with. I have not picked the glasses up yet, but I hope they are worth the money spent, because when I left I saw an optical shop across the street advertising glasses for 75% less than what I paid.
