This was my first experience with Medlink Monroe. The staff were all really friendly and helpful and Nurse Practitioner Rachelle Gilmore was fantastic! She's kind, a great listener, very thorough, she didn't rush me and I could tell she actually cares. All things I've rarely experienced at other medical institutions.

Apparently you prescribe suboxone to someone taking medications that can cause a fatal reaction when they’re not even addicted to opioids. I will not rest until your clinic is shut down. Abhorrent. Negligent. Dangerous. Whatever money you just made on that appointment will not begin to cover the cost to you.

If I could give 0, I would.... For nearing two years I have had to try to advocate for myself with another practice totally unrelated while having some very crazy off the wall symptoms during and after pregnancy. A lot of it I thought was just pregnancy related (night sweats, extreme fatigue, loss of appetite, etc) until they kept happening after my pregnancy. To give you an idea. In August of 2025 I weighed 248lbs. Today, I'm 160lbs and still losing weight. Without diet and exercise..... I finally was able to change my doctor and I chose MedLink because my children go to the one in Winder (which is incredible) but this one had someone I did some research on because I mean, after telling my previous doctors and literally BEGGING for answers for almost two years, I found one Dr. Rebecca Redding. I read several comments about how she "advocates" for people. Yeah, apparently not everyone gets this luxury. I came in for my initial appointment after giving a very long medical history through the patient portal about the 3 close relatives (my dad, his sister, and his mom) who all three developed lymphoma before 60 years old. Several symptoms I've been experiencing, along with two growing masses in the inner crease of my elbow... Well, I get there and I'm hopeful. Excited, thinking this may be it. I may finally get some answers. Nope.... Instead, I'm asked by a very rude nurse who truly needs to learn some better bedside manners, if I'm having chest pain. I listed it as one of the symptoms but also assured the nurse that I had previously gone to the ER two weeks ago who ruled out DVT and all heart conditions. My heart isn't the issue and I made it very, very clear. I was told the doctor will not see me unless I get an EKG which remind you, I had already been to the Emergency Department for this same issue. They can't help me because they don't have the ability to do a PET scan. Turning away a patient who may possibly have something dangerous is very unprofessional and can be considered medical negligence. I came to you for help. Not to be turned away. I will now be seeking care at UAB in Birmingham, Alabama and I'll make sure to give you those results once they become available to me. No one should ever have to jump through hoops to get help. I'm a 36 year old military wife of 4 children. This is absolutely ridiculous and needs to be addressed IMMEDIATELY!
