I had to reach out to corporate after being denied my prescriptions. Yesterday I went to the pharmacy and Siara, Pamela and the pharmacist were rude. Siara accused me of talking on the phone while my phone was not near my ear and kept rolling her eyes. I couldn’t hear her through the window and I wasn’t feeling well. I went inside and overheard her blatantly talking about me to the pharmacist, Fanta. Other customers were there and one shooked her head in disbelief. Pamela followed up with being condescending based on what her colleague said and refused to service me. She told me to stand to the side and said that I was on the phone when I was clearly not on the phone, as it can be seen on the camera. I had the phone down prior to her walking up to me. As I addressed how rude the tech was to talk about a customer in their face, Siara began to yell across the pharmacy at me in a very aggressive manner. It was so unprofessional. After leaving a review last night, I received a text that my prescriptions won’t be filled until next week. Ironically, while at the pharmacy, I was told that they would be ready this morning. I called last night after receiving the text and spoke with Fanta who stated my prescriptions can’t be filled due to my insurance. However, the prescriptions are less than $15 combined and I was not offered the opportunity to pay, only denied my prescriptions. Furthermore, I called this morning and was denied again. I was told that I would have to contact another pharmacy because I said I was getting my prescriptions transferred although they haven’t been transferred as of yet due to the delay in the other pharmacy. I informed the pharmacist that my prescriptions are still there and the transfer did not take place yet and again asked to get them filled. I was then told that the prescriptions won’t be ready until Saturday. I reminded the pharmacist that I was there last night and was told they would be ready this morning. Then the tech, Laura inquired about it to the pharmacist and then finally relayed to me that they can be ready at 2pm today. I am humiliated on how I was treated. I still plan to transfer pharmacies after picking up my prescriptions today. If I have any other issues, I will have to contact corporate.

Pharmacist Ryan, at the Kroger Pharmacy on 301 Jonesboro Rd in McDonough, Ga, was especially rude to my mother (whom is 76 years old) when she called with a question about her prescription. He seemed to be MORE concerned about getting out the store (as the pharmacy had closed), and made it his business to stress this matter, than he was in helping my mother in a nice and well manner. I overheard this engagement and as I was about to get the phone from her to talk to him, he hung up. I find this very rude and upsetting especially coming from the pharmacist, himself. As in, how many OTHER people has he or some of the (younger) members of the pharmacy staff have treated other customers like this.....when all that they are doing to is trying to get an understanding on their medications? Something should be done about this.
