My hygienist used a new electric tool to loosen the charter on my teeth instead of the usual handheld manual pick. This machine produced a high-pitched whistle that was the equivalent of nails on a chalkboard. I could barely stay in my chair. If this is the new procedure for having my teeth cleaned, I may need to find a new dental practice. I don’t want to do that because I’ve been with this practice for 25 years but if this is now my only option, I just simply can’t endure it.
