We offer expertise in a variety of specialties, including bariatric surgery, orthopedic care, spine care and gastric reflux disease. Established in 1984 by Charter Medical Corporation as Charter Northside Hospital, Piedmont Macon North became part of Piedmont Healthcare on August 1, 2021 – expanding quality health services to our community.
I've called several times and haven't got any help or any information. Keep getting transferred. Not impressed and not happy

Must say from the time I walked in it was amazing. Had sugary today 03-25-2026 and what an amazing staff from start to finish and doctor was amazing and have nothing bad to say about this hospital thank you all for everything!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

On 03/02/2026 after a fainting scare ended up here, and the ER staff was excellent. Was in the ER for hours and it felt like minutes how well the staff handled everything, was consistently updated during the entire stay. But upon check in the staff member that handles electronically signing and payments was so rude and told a 79 year old patient whom had just come through from passing out "YOU DONT LISTEN" as far as telling her when to sign. No compassion for a distressed patient at all. During the time when one is already worrying and hurt to have to be talked down to over simple mistakes is ridiculous.

Brought my wife in for extreme stomach pain, and passing blood clots while pregnant. Waiting for triage was a few minutes, good there. But then, although er and parking lot was a ghost town we waited 59 minutes for someone to come in and it was about our insurance. My wife suffered through a miscarriage with just her and myself in the room for over 3 hours. My wife is in the medical field, I have an understanding of duties, policy and wait times. This was ridiculous and unnecessary. Is this place even monitored by anyone who has regulations for how a hospital should treat it's patients. After all, we are customers. Without us there is no you. Nobody is accountable. Horrible experience. If they can't get simple patient ethics right, I question their ability to practice medicine at all.
Visit was on 02/22/26 4:00 am - 9:00 am.
