    I do recommend OneLife Fitness Macon in some respects, but I am very disappointed by the inconsistent enforcement of their pool policy. We joined in part because this location presented itself as family-friendly. There is signage in the pool area, and information online, indicating that children are welcome to swim with a swim diaper. Based on that, it seemed reasonable to expect that policy would be honored. However, we were later told that kids are not allowed to swim at all, which directly contradicts what is advertised. The issue is not just the rule itself, but the fact that the location appears to be choosing which policies to enforce despite corporate messaging, posted signs, and online information saying otherwise. When a business advertises one thing and then tells members something completely different in person, it creates confusion and feels misleading. Families make membership decisions based on the amenities and policies that are presented to them. If an individual location is going to enforce a different rule, that needs to be made clear upfront instead of leaving members to find out after they have already joined. I hope OneLife Fitness Macon either honors the policies it advertises or updates its signage and website so members are given accurate information from the start.

    The classes and instruction is 5 star or better! The gym where the workouts are does not have proper air conditioning and people are literally sweating so bad some had to leave! Everyone has complained to the front desk management and the manager Sandy said there is nothing that can be done, several of us have requested fans, but it is just in one ear and out the other. The only advice I got from Sandy when I asked to contact was OneLife Corporate.com. At least 45 members I know are dissatisfied with how this is being handled.

    This is a great gym love everything I can do there which is almost everything. I love the new punching bags they added and the pool. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is their wifi almost never works which is inconvenient. I hope they get it fixed and they probably will. Other than that it's a great gym. From staff to equipment everything is great.

No awkward sales tactics. Just straight professionalism and hospitality. She listened first. She asked what my goals were. She explained the options clearly. She broke everything down in a way that made sense — no hidden confusion, no rushed explanations. And here’s what stood out… she made the process smooth. Efficient. Respectful of my time. I never felt “sold.” I felt supported. That matters. Customer service isn’t just about being nice. It’s about understanding people, anticipating questions, and making someone feel comfortable making a decision. Nikki did all of that effortlessly. By the time I signed up, it didn’t feel like a transaction — it felt like I was joining something structured and well-led. If first impressions matter, she absolutely nailed it. Professional. Knowledgeable. Personable. That’s how you bring someone into a gym the right way.

    I can’t say enough about this gym! The staff, the community, the amenities, and the classes are on a whole other level. If you ever get the chance to take Kickboxing with Lot at OneLife Fitness in Macon… DO IT! This has been my favorite class since they first opened, and it will forever be my number one. I would literally go to kickboxing 7 days a week if it were an option! Thank you for another killer class, Lot!!! Hoping to see even more classes added throughout the week 💪🏼🔥
