They don’t want to help you unless they get all of the business. I had to go to an ophthalmologist, to have my eyes checked and received a thorough exam. The woman at this location gave me a terrible attitude because I had an outside prescription. I will gladly take my business elsewhere!

I had a very disappointing experience at LensCrafters in Webb Gin. When I entered the store, no one greeted me. The staff’s attitudes were extremely standoffish and unwelcoming. I came in specifically to have my PD and ocular center measured, which my email from LensCrafters stated could be done at any local location. However, the older Caucasian woman looked at me as if she didn’t believe what I was saying. A young Black gentleman with dreadlocks also questioned where I bought my frames. I explained that I purchased them from LensCrafters. The interaction felt very dismissive. He measured me quickly right at the counter instead of assisting me properly. The week prior, another employee at this same location had taken me to a table and explained that I would need to bring my frames in order to be measured. When I returned with the frames as instructed, no one even asked to see them. The lack of consistency and professionalism was frustrating. After sharing this experience with my sister, she mentioned that customer service at this location has always been poor and she's experienced the same thing with the older lady and gentleman. Management should seriously consider retraining staff on basic customer service and communication, because this experience did not reflect the level of service customers should expect.

We truly want to give a shout out to Sammy, today she was amazing. She helped us out to the best of her ability and she was very easy to talk to, plus friendly with our baby boy. We cannot wait to come back and hopefully she is there. It was a pleasure working with her today.

Today, I had the pleasure of experiencing excellent customer service @ LensCrafters Lawrenceville! I brought in 3 pairs of glasses, which were all in need of repair. Tightening an arm on one, another required adjustment on fit & last one needed a screw. All were fixed within a brief 10 minutes. Service was outstanding and rendered with no charge. They've won me over as a client. Highly recommend!!

Frequently Asked Questions About LensCrafters

How do I know if my child needs glasses?

Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.

Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?

A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
