I had a great experience at Dental Excellence of Kennesaw, from my initial scheduling call with Jennifer, to my cleaning with Amy and check up with Doctor K. Everyone was incredibly knowledgeable and helped me better understand both preventative and proactive oral health care needs and options that best fit me. Scheduled an appointment due to pain and swelling after a permanent crown was placed. I was in the waiting room for 40 minutes. When the dentist saw me he told me that two weeks prior when he was working on my teeth that he believed there was a 50/50 chance, for both teeth, that I would need a root canal. 75% is a pretty high risk so had I been told that before, I would have made an appointment with the endodontist prior to having a permanent crown put on (also would’ve saved $95 after coming in for a 5-minute appointment). Additionally after speaking to the front desk they were going to charge for the filling after the root canal. Although the root canal should have been done prior to the permanent crown. Front desk also told me that it was partially my fault for not spotting the painless molar cavity earlier. However 6 months prior the dentist was made aware of the issue and saw no urgency in the matter.

Came in for some tooth fillings and had a great experience. The doctor and dental assistant were very welcoming and considerate of my feelings. Front desk had exceptional service and I highly recommend this place!!

My first and only experience with this provider was extremely disappointing. I requested an estimate and was informed that the actual charges would only be determined after the insurance processed the claim. However, on the day of treatment, I was shocked to be charged nearly double the initial estimate. How could the facility charge me twice as much without knowing the actual cost from the Explanation of Benefits (EOB)? It didn't stop there. Once the claim was processed, I was billed even more, with the final charges being almost three times the original estimate. I had a few email exchanges with Jen from the billing department, but instead of addressing my concerns, she blamed the insurance company. I would not recommend using this provider.
