Amazing service.
From check in to check out, i had a really good experience.
Dr Pereira is really friendly and does not rush through visits. He takes the time to listen to you, to answer ALL your questions/concerns, to make you feel comfortable, and actually looks at you as a human being and not just a number or a source of income. The best part: he does it all in a short amount of time. And before you know it, you are ready to move to the next activity on your schedule.
He is not condescending, he does not interrupt or rush you, and he does not waste your time.
Even though I requested a referral from my PCP, due to a family history, the moment I walked in, I started getting anxious wondering what I was already doing at a cardiologist office at my age. In my mind, I still had another 30-40 years at least before an initial visit is needed.
I did not have to wait to be seen. Waiting would have probably worsened my anxiety.
Ms. Hailey at check-in; Ms. Jackie, his Medical Assistant; Ms. Beverly, his nurse; Dr Pereira himself; and Ms. Lori at checkout, all made me feel extremely comfortable and welcomed. They were all really friendly. (The ladies at check-in and checkout were busy between phone calls and patients ready to check-in/out, but they still were patient and friendly with each person).
My concerns were addressed at each level. I never felt like I was asking too many questions or had too many requests.
I left the office smiling and couldn’t help doing a little dance of relief in the parking lot before getting into my car to leave.
In my language they say, “on n’attrape pas les mouches avec du vinaigre.” Dr Pereira and his staff seem to know it.
Would 100% recommend Dr Pereira and his staff. See you next year for my yearly check.
