  Hello to whom it may concern Dr. Taylor was my doctor. I’m writing to clarify some confusion regarding my terbinafine treatment and liver function testing. When I was first prescribed terbinafine for my toenail fungus, I had liver function bloodwork done before starting the medication. After completing the first month, I returned and was sent for another liver function test before receiving my second month’s prescription. Because that was the pattern during the first two months, I assumed I needed to return again before starting the third month for another liver function test. When I came in for my appointment, I was told that I did not need to return and that three months of medication had already been prescribed. I was also told that I “wasn’t listening,” which left me feeling uncomfortable and confused. I want to be clear that I was simply trying to follow instructions and make sure I was taking the medication safely. Since I had liver testing done before each of the first two months, I thought that was the expected protocol for the full three-month course. Given that my previous labs were normal, I would appreciate clarification so I can be sure I am following the correct plan. Thank you for your time and help.

  Great surgeon. Very kind, thorough. He saved my left foot a few years ago and now I'm ready for further surgery. I would not let anyone touch it but him. I waited until my insurance changed and he was in network.
