The staff is absolutely amazing, if not for them I would truly be lost. If you or someone in your family suffers from severe hearing loss this is hands down the best place to go!! My financial situation was less than desirable and they were still more than willing to help in any way they could. They gave me the gift of sound again. My grandbabies laughing, birds singing, and most of all the sweet melodies of music. Forever grateful

The wed page said that they had a audiologist in the office. They don't have one to do your test.
No. We do not charge customers for their initial visit. That includes a complimentary hearing exam and, when available, an in‑home trial of the latest hearing aid technology. Contact the clinic to schedule an appointment.
What should I bring to my appointment?
Bring a valid photo ID, your insurance card (if applicable), any current hearing aids, a list of problem sounds or listening situations, and an interpreter or caregiver if you need assistance. We also recommend bringing a family member or friend to help identify hearing situations.
Does Medicaid or Medicare cover hearing aids?
Medicaid provides coverage for hearing aids in over half of U.S. states, though coverage varies by state. Traditional Medicare typically excludes hearing aids but may cover diagnostic exams; some Medicare Advantage (Part C) plans include hearing benefits. AudioNova staff can help check your specific plan.
Will my insurance plan cover the cost of hearing aids?
Coverage varies by plan and provider. Many plans cover all or part of the cost. Our hearing experts will contact your insurance company at no charge to verify benefits and explain any out‑of‑pocket costs.
Will I need a referral from my primary care physician?
It depends on your insurance plan. Many commercial PPO plans do not require a referral, while some policies (including certain Medicare pathways) may. Our team will guide you through referral requirements and documentation if needed.
What does it mean when my plan says 100% coverage for hearing aids?
Typically, insurance coverage percentages are applied to a plan maximum. '100% covered' usually means the plan will pay up to the plan's allowed maximum amount; any difference depends on the plan's terms. AudioNova staff will review your plan details and explain how coverage is calculated.
Do you offer financing and what are the options?
Yes. AudioNova partners with finance providers such as CareCredit to offer flexible monthly payment options (subject to credit approval). Terms and promotional offers vary; ask your clinic for current financing options and details.
Do you provide tinnitus evaluation and management?
Yes. Our hearing experts provide tinnitus management and counseling, including assessment, education about common causes, and tools to help manage symptoms. We also offer resources and therapies tailored to individual needs.
Do you remove earwax (cerumen) in the clinic?
Yes. We offer safe, in‑clinic earwax removal performed by trained hearing experts using appropriate tools and solutions to restore clarity and comfort.
What services are included in a comprehensive hearing exam?
A comprehensive exam can include a hearing screening in a sound‑treated booth, diagnostic audiometry, otoscopy (ear inspection), speech‑in‑noise testing, and recommendations for treatment or hearing aids. Specific services available may vary by clinic.
