  I wholeheartedly recommend Family Hospice. They provide excellent services to patients and their families, from nursing to supplies (diapers, bed pads, wipes, wheelchairs and more) to counseling. Their presence meant so much to our family during the last two months of my mother's life. Navigating end-of-life care is incredibly difficult, but the support we received from Family Hospice made a world of difference, and I want to honor both their skills and their hearts in this review. I want to specifically recognize Von, who gave us her devoted attention, advice, and expertise, especially in the intake phase, but really all through my mother's illness. Kim, mama's assigned nurse, was amazing. She always came in with a smile and treated Mama like her own family member. She was professional and honest about the situation, but she was also very personable. She made me feel relaxed in her presence and made it easy to ask her questions. Amy came to bathe my mother, quietly, sweetly, and efficiently. She made sure Mama was comfortable during the process. Family Hospice also has an attentive chaplain, Aaron, who made sure to check on us regularly. Arri, the social worker, facilitated various things for my family, even helping my nephew arrange with the Red Cross to fly home from his army base for my mother's funeral. They are truly special people who didn't just 'do their jobs'—they treated my mother with the kind of dignity and compassion you would show your own family. Their medical professionalism was matched only by their humanity; they were there for us in the hardest moments, providing quiet comfort and guidance. Knowing she was in such capable and kind hands allowed our family to focus on simply being present with her. To anyone facing this path with an elderly parent, these are the people you want by your side. They are true angels, and we are forever grateful for the peace they brought to my mother’s final days.

  Carolyn Culpepper Is an exceptional hospice nurse who truly embodies compassion, professionalism, and dedication. I believe she does the same in the client’s home during such a difficult time for families, I believe Carolyn will also provides not only excellent medical care, but also comfort patients and understanding.

  Great Hospice company to work with. Their attention to care is chefs kiss! Carolyn Culpepper has the best attitude and is really a great representation of what a Hospice company should represent. She truly cares!

  I would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge an extremely professional, compassionate, and proficient Hospice organization! My wife has severe CHF, and was referred by her heart failure specialist for Hospice. Not knowing a lot about the hospice providers at the time, we chose a provider. In their orientation meeting they promised the best care possible, which of course is what we expected… We were very sadly dissatisfied! Without trying to list all of the inadequate scheduling and quality care issues we decided to move on to find a company that would provide the care we deserved . After some asking friends and neighbors, we got extremely lucky and with some “word of mouth” recommendations we contacted Family Hospice in Gainesville. Sometimes you don’t get it correct the first time, but we” hit a home run” for sure with these folks! When we sat down to meet with we immediately felt at ease. During their presentation of services they would provide , I asked if they would be willing to care for my wife, like they would want their mother , or family member to be cared for??? Yes, absolutely was the response. Since that meeting I can say with great gratitude that they have not once disappointed either my wife or myself with their professional expertise of all staff members treating my wife!!!
