The Heard County Health Department is dedicated to protecting and improving the health and well-being of individuals and communities within our county by providing health care services, screenings, immunizations, and education for all ages. We also help prevent disease and injury through our WIC, chronic disease prevention, environmental health, emergency preparedness, and epidemiology programs. We are one of 12 county health departments in District 4 of the Georgia Department of Public Health.
