Our family member has been admitted to Piedmont Fayette Hospital from March 22 – April 6, 2026, and while there have been some positive experiences, there are also serious concerns that need to be addressed. There were a few nurses and therapists who were attentive, professional, and truly supportive—especially on days like March 30 when care was excellent. However, the overall experience has been inconsistent, particularly with the technicians on the 4th floor, West Wing. Unfortunately, the techs have been very hit or miss. From our experience, only about 2 technicians during this entire stay were attentive and professional. Many others appeared untrained or unsure, often focusing on completing tasks rather than providing quality patient care. We experienced multiple delays in response times, especially when my aunt needed help getting to the bathroom. This resulted in repeated and very distressing incidents where she urinated on herself due to lack of timely assistance. On April 6, my aunt called for help to use the bathroom. We waited approximately 10 minutes, and no one came. I had to begin assisting her myself. As she made it to the walker and started toward the bathroom, she began urinating on herself again. This was the fourth occurrence, and it is completely unacceptable. The charge nurse Diane did eventually come in and assist her, but this was after the incident had already occurred. Neither the assigned nurse nor the technician responded in time. This raises serious concerns—if I had not been there, what would my aunt have gone through? Additionally, there was an instance where a supervisor came into the room and incorrectly stated that we were recording staff, which was not true. This was both concerning and unprofessional. While this is a good hospital for short stays, I would strongly caution families if your loved one will be here longer than 2–3 days. Extended stays seem to expose inconsistencies in care, particularly with support staff. I even encountered another family member who expressed similar concerns and was considering transferring their loved one elsewhere. Word of advice: If you bring your loved one here, do not leave them alone. We are hopeful that things will improve, and we are also hopeful that we will be discharged soon. This feedback is shared in hopes that the hospital will address these concerns around staff training, responsiveness, and patient dignity.

This hospital is horrible. And please don’t go there to deliver a child! My daughter went there to deliver her first child and had the worst experience. They kept her in labor for 24 hours before telling us they needed to do a c-section. This is after her epidural came out of her back! The doctor that came on shift said the nurse checking her and telling her to push all night was wrong about the delivery and couldn’t feel her head but instead soft tissue from her being in labor so long without any progress. So my 20 year old went through hell trying to give birth to what was already a very hard pregnancy and time in her life. It was the worst experience for her and for me. I would never trust them there again. I tried to warn her prior about going there but was trying to not be over stepping

I really wish I could give this hospital zero stars. Go anywhere but here if you have an emergency. I brought my daughter here with a stomach infection, the emergency room was so crowded and disgusting. They ended up admitting her and the nurses on staff were terrible. It took them 30 minutes or more to come to the room when called. My daughter was violently vomiting and every single time I had to clean it up. I can't imagine what would have happened if I was not able to stay there with her. They couldn't figure out what was wrong with her but just kept her on pain pills. I ended up taking her out and using natural healing methods.

Would give zero stars if it was a choice. Young woman behind counter was rude and bothered by customer interaction. We approached to order 2 chicken biscuits and before I could get the words out of my mouth she said "No, No, No" and shook her head with disgusted look on her face. It is 8:00 am and they have no biscuits. I should have left, but stupidly asked for 2 coffees. She rolled her eyes and disappeared behind a rack and brought the coffees. Then I apparently was being difficult by asking if there was any cream and sugar. Again with the eye rolling and the requested items being presented as if they were a heavy load. Chick fil a needs to rethink this employee as she does not portray them in a favorable light. If she is contracted through the hospital then they need to rethink the hire, and Chick fil a needs to have a say in the next person that is hired to represent their brand.

So happy I eventually went to Piedmont Fayetteville. I truly regret going to Piedmont Newnan after having to go to Urgent Care and Piedmont Fayetteville for an issues I brought to the PAs at Piedmont Newnan. I’ll give the specifics. I arrived due to severe headache and high blood pressure (normally I do not have high blood pressure). After two or more hours there, I felt very sick to my stomach, became nauseated and eventually threw up. I informed the PA which she took a CT of my stomach and said nothing was wrong. Shift change new PA. I told PA Dustin that I felt very sick and was having abdominal pain. He said he saw my CT and there is nothing there. I insisted that I was sick, then he shocked me “three can things happen when you visit the ER, one your sent home, two we admit you, or three you DIE. The look on my face told him to clean that up, he then said, and your going home. My headache hadn’t gone away, but it wasn’t severe, but my abdominal pain was severe to me. I told Dustin that I felt sick. He then said that the ER’s job is to get you out of severe pain and refer you to your PCP or other specialist. I was released on 3/13/26, I was in pain the entire weekend. Couldn’t take the pain anymore, so I went to Urgent Care on 3/15, excellent PA, referred me to ER, my illness was beyond what they could do, but he was very thorough with his examination of me. So, on Monday, I decided to try Piedmont Fayetteville, and oh what a difference in my care. The doctor did a complete examination, bloodwork, urine test, and CT. She gave me medications that stopped my pain and a prescription that has continued to help because the pain did come back. I’m so please with the care and treatment I received at Piedmont Fayetteville. I think the difference is Newnan ER has PAs and Fayetteville ER has doctors.
