I'm not sure who answers the phones here but very unhelpful. The sounded annoyed at my questions. I went to book an appointment with one of the docs as a first time patient and she says "they don't see patients for that, you have to see a PA" . When I asked why i had to see a PA, that's when the attituted started. Way to make an impression. I'll look elsewhere for care.

I had a myringotomy done yesterday and the doctors nurse who did it was great. She talked me thru the whole process. I had a hearing test done before the surgury and that Dr was great as well. I see someone wrote a bad review about Sheena and I had the total opposite experience.

Updated review: Dr Hood was efficient and very nice. His exam was brief and he was sensitive to my claustrophobia. He was open to answering questions. One thing I thought strange was his request for a review. I sent a message regarding the medication he prescribed (and I’m still waiting for a response) so, here’s the updated review. He’s a nice doctor. That’s it. Unresponsive past that. Their practice states it handles thyroids and neck surgery but he said they don’t. If I need an ENT, I’ll choose someone else. After making a new patient appointment for this Friday, I read through the reviews and now I am legit nervous and apprehensive about going. I have hypothyroidism and nodules that require biopsy. Thyroid is swollen and I lost my voice 3 weeks ago. I am willing to update my review but only if these nightmarish things don’t happen to me. I’m so sorry people here were treated so badly. Hoping they’ve changed.

I got an ear infection while on a business trip. I went to Urgent Care and got some ear drops but made a quick appt. with Dr. Sylvester. He said I had some fluid in my ear and prescribed a strong antibiotic and better ear drops and come back in one week for a follow-up. He's only in the Fayetteville office on Wednesdays and I could not go on that Wednesday so the front desk said I could see the PA (Sheena Manders) on Thursday. On that Thursday appt., she looked in my ears, did an ear pressure test and started taking notes (which by the way they do not share their notes when they send you the e-mail with "notes from your visit"). What I could not believe was how her demeanor and attitude changed when I started asking questions. She suggested I get a hearing test for hearing loss based on Dr Sylvester's notes (Which he gave me a printout with his notes on the first visit). I told her that I wanted to clear up the clogged ear first. Sheena became obviously rude and very short because I asked questions. She said I could see the doctor in a few days or get the hearing test. I told her I would have to wait a week to see the doctor because he only comes in on Wednesdays. Her demeanor got a little worse and she whisked me to the front to check out. Her attitude was unacceptable to me. Needless to say, I did not make another appt. and never will. On top of that, I wanted management to know that I have never been treated so poorly by a PA in my life. I called the same day to express my concerns. I left a voicemail for the office manager, Tina Jackson. No response. I left another voicemail for Tina the following day. No response. I tried one last time on the following Monday. I left a voicemail and finally got a response. Tina listened and said she would address it. I told her if this review can save one person from having to deal with this rude healthcare provider, then it was worth the time to write. And they give their standard response probably by AI, and nothing happens. I found out there are much better ENT offices and PA's in the area. My advice is to do your research. No patient deserves the way I was treated by Sheena Manders.
