Overall I enjoyed my visit and the staff was pleasant. My only issues was I made an appointment and ended up waiting about 45 mins after my appointment time to be seen. Outside of that good experience I will be back.

I recently visited Arbor Place Eye Care, and while back Dr. V was excellent—professional, knowledgeable, and attentive the overall experience was disappointing due to cleanliness and professionalism concerns within the front staff and clinical environment. Equipment was not properly sanitized between patients, and I did not observe employees washing their hands or following standard hygiene protocols. Rather than thorough cleaning, machines were only wiped down with alcohol pads, which did not appear sufficient for medical equipment. The staff also seemed rushed and did not maintain a professional atmosphere throughout the visit, including management. This took away from what could have been a great experience given how skilled the doctor is. I hope the office implements stronger sanitation practices and improves staff training, because proper hygiene and professionalism are essential in a healthcare setting especially when dealing with patients’ eyes.

I received repeated nonstop txt messages—EVEN AFTER REPEATEDLY CONFIRMING THE APPOINTMENT AND COMPLETING PAPERWORK IN ADVANCE…the messages kept coming right up until the day and time of the appointment. It felt like harassment! My insurance has not changed. I had the insurance card…and I did paperwork on advance and still made an issue of it and took awhile to verify. They seemed very uncoordinated, confusing and unhelpful.

The customer service was good, the wait time to see the doctor was horrendous. My appointment was at 2pm and I didn’t see the doctor until 3:30. It would have been nice if I would have been told upon arrival that the doctor was behind and I could have made the choice to stay or leave. They should not overbook.

I scheduled a 10:40 AM appointment at LensCrafters and was greeted by a friendly receptionist who checked me in promptly. Unfortunately, I ended up waiting for an hour without being seen and had to leave due to other commitments later in the day. While I asked a few times about the wait time, I was never informed that the doctor was running behind schedule. It would have been helpful to know this upfront so I could plan accordingly. Due to the delay, I’ve decided to schedule my appointment with Visionworks instead. I hope future visits to LensCrafters include clearer communication about wait times.
