I received excellent same-day service and care at Georgia Eye Partners, John’s Creek office. I developed a painful and urgent eye condition Friday morning and called to schedule an appointment. The front office staff were professional, courteous, and efficient. My Ophthalmic Technician brought me back to the exam room right away and was incredibly attentive, compassionate, and reassuring. She showed genuine concern for my condition and made me feel truly cared for.
I shared with Dr. Bassett that I had previously experienced this condition but wanted a better understanding of why my eyes seem so susceptible. She thoroughly examined both eyes and took the time to clearly explain how pollen and my body’s immune response can exacerbate this condition, which brought me a great deal of comfort and clarity.
She also expressed thoughtful concern and recommended that I return on Monday to follow up on the healing process and ensure the condition does not worsen. Overall, I was extremely pleased with the level of care I received, the kind of attentive, thorough treatment every patient hopes to experience.

Oh my goodness! I truly don’t understand how this practice operates the way it does.
I was referred here for a follow-up visit after going to urgent care for a corneal abrasion. When I first called, I went through a lengthy verbal questionnaire and was told someone would call me back within an hour. That call didn’t come until 24 hours later.
By that point, my eye was actually improving, but I was encouraged to come in anyway “just to rule out anything else,” so I agreed and scheduled an appointment for 10:15 AM the next day.
I completed extensive paperwork in advance and arrived early at 10:05 AM. The check-in process was already a bit disorganized (their system wouldn’t accept my co-pay), but the real issue was the wait.
At 11:00 AM, I was still sitting in the waiting room and had not been seen. I was told I was “next,” yet three more patients were called back ahead of me. At that point, I decided to leave.
When I went to the front desk to confirm I wouldn’t be charged, I was met with a series of unnecessary questions, only to finally be told that there is “generally a 2-3 hour wait.”
That is completely unacceptable, especially for a scheduled appointment. This was not communicated at any point beforehand.
Both my husband and I rearranged our schedules for this visit, only to sit for over an hour with no transparency and no care provided.
This was an incredibly frustrating and disappointing experience. I will not be returning.

I was extremely dissatisfied with my visit yesterday. My appointment was for 11am, and when I arrived, the waiting room (which is large) was packed. I saw people getting called in at a frequent clip, but I still ended up waiting an hour. So, when I was finally called in, I was annoyed, but happy for the wait to be over. I was brought into a room for a quick vision check and then deposited in a second waiting room, where I waited another hour and a half. I was finally seen at 1:30pm, a full 2.5 hours later. During my wait in the second room, I noticed a sign that read that patients should expected to wait 2-3 hours total. Yet, there was no indication or warning about this when I scheduled the appointment or in the first waiting room. Needless to say, I was pretty pissed when I was finally able to leave, nearly 3 hours later. I liked the doctor and his reputation as a surgeon is well regarded, but I'm not sure if I am going to proceed with him as I don't have the time or patience to deal with a 3 hour visit every time I need an appointment.

I do not recommend this clinic whatsoever. The only thing they seem to care about is money, not the patient. The front desk service is terrible.
Last year, I underwent cataract surgery and had an intraocular lens implanted. My insurance covered part of the cost, but I had to pay $3,318 out of pocket because the insurance would not cover the full amount specifically due to the type of lens used, which they classified as a cosmetic procedure.
Unfortunately, the surgery was not successful. My vision remained blurry, and I experienced light flashes and black spots. The doctor told me this was normal and that I would need a follow-up laser treatment. They performed that procedure in February, which cost an additional $1,990.
Yesterday, I went in for a follow-up appointment that they had scheduled. However, upon arrival, the receptionist told me I had to pay $150.92 or at least a minimum of $100. They did not call me beforehand to inform me that a payment would be required; otherwise, I would have brought the money available. When I explained that I did not have the money with me, they refused to provide care and told me I would have to reschedule the appointment. In addition, the front desk staff did not offer any help or provide a solution.
I asked to speak with a manager or supervisor, but I was told that neither was available. The front desk service is very poor.
That was my experience. I do not recommend this clinic at all. Additionally, even with a scheduled appointment, the wait time is typically two to three hours. 😡😡😡
No recomiendo esta clínica en lo absoluto, lo único que les interesa es el dinero y no el paciente, la atencion delantera es malisima. El año pasado me hicieron una cirugía de catarata e implante de lente ocular mi seguro cubrio una parte y yo paque $3318, me dijeron que el seguro no cubrio todo por el tipo de lente y que era estético. La cirugía fue un fracaso veía borroso con destellos de luz y puntos negros, el doctor dijo que era normal y que tenia que hacer un láser nuevamente, me lo hicieron en febrero y el mismo que costó $1990. Ayer fui al control del láser qué ellos mismos programaron y al llegar la chica fue bastante grosera, me dijo que tenía que pagar $150,92 le dije que no los tenia y me negaron la atención médica que pagaba o tenía que reprogamar la cita porque no habia otra solucion si no pagaba, pedí hablar con el manager o el supervisor y me dijo que no estaban. Esa fue mi experiencia horrible, no la recomiendo para nada, además de esto la espera de atención es de dos o tres hora con cita previa 😡😡😡
