I tried to find place where I could get frames for cheap, this place has frames that are $24 and they are very durable. My vision has gotten worse throughout the years (I have been wearing glasses for 15 years) and have to get high index at this point in my life. Instead of just adding high index to my bill without explaining (Duluth Walmart), Scott explained to me how and why high index would positively impact my vision. The information was great because I do not like to spend money on unnecessary upgrades, this upgrade was deemed to be necessary (high index costs more than the regular glass). I got my new glasses within a week and everything was great, except I didn’t really like how the glasses made my face shape look. The glasses were smaller than I was used to, so I looked onto their website to see if by any chance, I could switch out my frame. I was only 11% positive the could switch out my frames and had no hope. Alas, they let you switch out your frames within 30 days of purchase if you are not satisfied with them. I make a visit and Scott is there, I explain to him that I love the glasses however they make my face look rounder than it really is, which I don’t really love. Scott was very understanding and told me of course I could pick out new frames. Scott was very patient with me and asked what my preferences were. I told him I didn’t really prefer the cat eye look and that the women’s glasses mostly had them or a hint of them, I loved the new frames the were just - smaller on the bottom and catty for me. Scott started browsing through the men’s section and I asked him if I was allowed to find a pair for me there, he said of course why not. I found a pair that looked just like the new pair I had just purchased, except the frames were wider (which is what I wanted). We go to check out and the frames I had just picked was 50% (64.50 after the discount). Their site says that if we choose a more expensive pair than the original, we would just pay the remaining charge. I was expecting to take out my card and pay a fee, however Scott says that I came at a good time and that they owe ME 43.30 now. Something about the old frames have increased in price, I don’t really understand because I THOUGHT I saw my old frames at the $24 spot again, who knows, I’m not complaining. This place has really good prices, and deals like 50% off.
Side Note: Scott gave me a Versace glasses container and I didn’t notice until I got in the car, free expensive stuff is so great. Haha
In summary, Scott was great at explaining, understanding, and patient with me. They let you replace the frames if you aren’t satisfied with them, Scott also mentioned this at my first payment (I just wasn’t sure if it was about frames or the prescription (but I got my prescription at Kaiser)), and mentioned it again after finalizing my changed frame pair. Scott said the 30 days will start again if I do not like this SECOND pair, which was great to hear.
