If I could post negative stars I would. I had surgery and needed my post op prescriptions filled and taken right away. My husband took my rx to this pharmacy at 3:00 (my usual pharmacy did not have one of the medications in stock and I needed to start it same day). He confirmed the meds were in stock and that he needed it quickly. The lady he spoke with seemed confused and said tomorrow, he explained again and said for post op need today or take the prescription back. She said they would do it and text when ready. An hour, no contact. So I tried to call to check. I am as hung up on 8 times! I spoke with 2 “store managers”, and as soon as they transferred the call it hung up. Finally got a caring and helpful teenager who took my name and number said sorry and somehow got the pharmacist on the phone! That pharmacist was nice and helpful, but, he told me they don’t have my prescription! No record of it. I tried to stop crying. I let him know that my husband is on his way, explained the whole story- he said hold and he wanted to check one place. He found my prescription and said it had not been scanned. I said if he can fill it before my husband gets there fine- if not give the paper rx back so when can go somewhere else. He said he was starting now and would have it in 10 min. My husband gets there and the lady who he gave the original prescription to told him it would be 20 min. My husband said he started yelling and said he would not be moving until he had my medicine. The lady walked away and did not say anything. Another lady came and a pharmacist (different one). No ONE apologized. No sorry for the confusion, we messed up. Nothing. HE stood there and waited another 15 min. Then they advise him they do not have the exact mg in one of my medications, and that it will need to be split in half. He said just give him the meds and check him out. Again NO sorry, no we messed up, we hope your wife recovers well. Nothing. I was crying in pain when I called the last 3 or so calls because time had passed the point where I was scheduled to take pain medication. I was nearing the point of an ER visit for pain. Not to mention the LAST thing I needed was the stress of this whole thing. I will never ever trust Kroger with my prescriptions. And I used to shop there as my regular grocery store, but at the moment I am not sure I want to go back even for groceries. I know everyone is overwhelmed and short staffed and we all want something right this minute, but this was beyond! I will contact the store, be sure to give my thanks to the teenager and the pharmacist (who my husband did not see) that finally found my paper rx. Otherwise what a horrible customer service experience!!
