Dr. Kenneth Disbrow and nurse Robert took excellent care of me during my ER visit April 6 after dislocating my shoulder. My care was exceptional. Everyone I had contact with was warm and friendly. Definitely in capable hands at Piedmont-Newton.

Very friendly and professional staff, doctors and nurses and always had a good experience. I had surgery in 2021 for a fractured femur. I was thoroughly impressed with the professionalism of the nurses, doctors and other staff. When I had physical therapy after the operation at the hospital therapy center the therapists were extremely good and professional in helping me gain back my mobility. In 2025 I had a sonogram performed on my kidneys and bladder by a imaging technician in the imaging department. And again just recently in March 2026. Both times the experience was very good. The staff was very friendly and I didn't have to wait long before a technician took the scans. I've always had a very positive experience every time I have gone to the Piedmont Medical Center in Covington.

I have Relapsing Multiple Scelrosis. On March 13th I decided to go to a hospital because of extreme pain in both my legs. I was not able to stand or walk. I also had bed sores on the back of my thighs. I chose to go to the Newton hospital. I'm so glad that I did. As soon as I arrived to the ER I felt listened to. I end up having to stay and I was transferred to a hospital room. From as soon as I was admitted until being discharged, each day, I was taken care of and checked on constantly. I was discharged on March 17, but I still couldn't stand so the hospital called for a non emergency transportation for me. Even though I had been discharged around 4p.m. I needed to wait until 7:30 for the transportation. The nurses still cheeked in on me and asked me if I needed anything. The point that I want to make is if you have the option to choose which hospital you can go to, I will suggest that you choose Piedmont Newton. From the nurses to the rest of the staff, i.e. cleaners and meal delivery, they are pleasant, patient and caring.

I have used this hospital many times over past years. I would not recre mend this hospital to anyone! But on March 7th or 8th I had a stroke and was rushed again to Piedmont hospital. I can not say enough about my experience this time. The er, the doctors, the nurses, the technicians, even house cleaning treated me with personable respect. Not once did I feel like they were there just doing their job. They cared about me. They have really stepped up their game!!! Dr. Louis and everyone thank you so much. You go above and beyond. That's the difference! Sincerely, Tracy Stinchcomb
