If I give no stars I would. I went to the clinic yesterday, 12/29 and a prescription was electronically sent in to this Kroger as well as all my meds are and this was on the same day of the appt. I waited and didn’t hear any status update from Kroger the next day, 12/30. So I start calling that morning at 10:32 a.m. The phone just rang, rang and rang for 10 mins with no answer from anyone in the pharmacy dept. At that point, I get in my car and drive to this Kroger on 278 in Covington. I get there, go to the window, I see no customers at the counter waiting and the counter is empty. I asked Natali, cert. tech if the phone lines were working, she replied yes, how can I help you? Did not asked if there were a problem? Why are you asking? Did you have any issues calling in? Just some basic customer service questions to see if something was wrong with me asking. I asked who and where was the manager? Natali replied, Heidi I asked to see her, no she’s off today. I guess when the boss away, the staff will play. I asked if my prescription was ready? She looked, her reply was “Don’t see it” Me asking, are you sure? I explained where I was the day before, (Dr. Appt). Natali, “Don’t see it” I asked if she could call the clinic? Her reply “No, you need to” I walked away and I went to my car and cried. I called the clinic, their saying it’s there. I remind you, ALL of my prescriptions are sent there for years. The clinic (Dr. office) called Kroger and the phone just rang, rang and rang. I was also on the phone with the clinic as a three way phone call. Kroger finally picked up and the phone receiver was placed on the counter and the Clinic Rep and I could hear them talking. This went on for 45 mins, the rep and I just holding on and Kroger never came back. Finally, the clinic rep had to hang up to assist other customer besides me. I drove to the clinic to get a paper prescription to take to Kroger. While sitting there waiting at the clinic, I walked out and went to my car with tears in my eyes and cried. When a person is sick, you feel helpless and there are times in these medical field people where they just don’t care. I have experienced it time and time. I got a call later from Kroger after crying for them to say, your meds are ready. The issue was the year of my birth per Natali. I drive back to Kroger and got my medicine. Natali, cert. tech, please find you another line of work. Because you truly do not need to be at the front line counter working with sick people. Natali never asked for my address to verify that my prescription was there the entire time. I told her I had my for to show I had been at the doctor’s office. She did even care to take the form to read it. It would have shown her that my birth year was different but my diagnose would have matched the prescription. STAY AWAY FROM KROGER ON HWY 278, Covington, Ga….
