  I arrived here in ambulance with excruciating abdominal pain and vomiting. They gave me zofran, and took my vitals and took blood. I arrived here around 11:45pm it is now 5:30 am and I still haven’t been seen.. the nurse said they were waiting to get a room so I can be seen. Idk when I will be seen by a doctor. Idk if this is the norm This is also my first time at any hospital in GA.. I’m from NYC .. and I would’ve been seen faster at Lincoln hospital in the Bronx smh .. also I’m still in lots of pain.. I’m considering self treating and just going home because at this rate it might take 3 business days to be seen.

  Registration desk had changed since we were there last. We went into old area and was informed of chane but very nice young woman registered us there. My sister has dementia, the people in the x ray dept were very nice and kind to her. They really showed compassion and had a loving attitude.

  I was very pleased with my visit to Piedmont Rockdale. Everyone was attentive and I had a short wait before being seen. You are called when ready and they even provide an escort to the waiting area of your visit. From there, I was seen quickly and all procedures were explained. The person in training explained what she would do before the technician took over. It all went smoothly. One small problem, since I was having blood work done also, apparently no one knew and I sat until I brought it to the attention of one of the lab people who quickly called a tech and the work was done. I definitely recommend Piedmont Rockdale.

  My latest encounter in the emergency room, I was treated with great respect and care by a young man named Camillo. He was wonderful! I was admitted and was in 205b and received outstanding care from Octavia, Zan, Drucillia and so many countless others. Every individual that entered my room from housekeeping, dietary and the nursing floor staff were absolutely outstanding, kind and caring. I cannot thank these employees enough. They made my stay such a blessing and a beautiful experience. I wanted to also mention a very kind individual named D'Ana who also made references to places for help with medical supplies and more. She was also outstanding and kind and a blessing to work with and talk to.

  My husband required immediate medical attention due to severely elevated blood pressure that persisted despite administering two doses of high blood pressure medication. On March 10, we arrived at the hospital at approximately 4 PM. My husband informed the front desk staff that he was experiencing chest pains and high blood pressure, and they instructed us to take a seat. A few minutes later, we were summoned to the front desk, where he sat in a chair, and they checked his blood pressure, noting its extreme elevation. We were then directed to sit down again, and his name was called once more. They performed an EKG and chest X-ray, after which we sat down again. Following a few hours, we were called to the desk to recheck his blood pressure, which remained high. He complained of a headache and dizziness, yet we were instructed to continue waiting. At 8 PM, we were escorted to a room in the ER, where his blood pressure reading was 224/126 and remained unstable for four hours. At 11:30 PM, a doctor entered the room and eventually admitted him. I inquired about the four-hour delay in his examination, and he explained that he had other patients to attend to. I fail to comprehend why a patient presenting with chest pains and severely elevated blood pressure was not accorded more prompt attention. Today Is 03/31/26 I emailed the complaint department at Rockdale Hospital over four weeks ago and received no response; if we ever do need medical attention in the future be will be driving to another hospital. If you are reading this I pray you make it out alive.
