- KPKeith PassmoreMar 18, 20262.0I have been meaning to leave a review for a while, but due to my busy schedule I am just now getting around to it. My issue is with a pair of Nike shades that I purchased here. The shades were about $300 after my insurance paid. I was asked if I wanted my prescription in the shades and I thought that would be great. I was a little skeptical about the shades due to the fact that they were very lightweight and didn't seem very durable. But with the name brand being Nike I thought they would hold up. Well, these shades didn't last very long at all. The broke several times. Each time I took them back to get repaired because they were still under warranty. I have bought shades for much less than these that lasted much longer. They seem to be very flimsy and would break very easily. I was later told by the same employee who asked me if I wanted the prescription installed that the frame wasn't meant to have a prescription because it's plastic and is not meant to bend. So, why wasn't I told this from the beginning? If it wasn't meant to have a prescription, why did the employee allow me to spend my hard-earned money only to tell me later that all I could receive in return is a pair of regular shades. I really hate to say this, but I feel like I was ripped off. Even though I have great insurance I still had an out-of-pocket expense. The people here are very nice, but this just didn't sit well with me. Due to this. I have considered taking my business elsewhere.
