    I saw Dr. Jumani and she was nice. Pretty professional and thoroughly talked through everything. However, the man at checkout was pretty rude. He made comments about how she put so much in my chart for him to do. When it came time to scheduling an appointment he didn’t give me any options just told me what time to be there. He handed me a card and told me to write down a password. I asked him what it was for so I could figure out what I wanted to do and he had a bad attitude and said it was for MyChart, acted like I was supposed to know already. He tried to schedule me an appointment with a dietician and I told him I already had one. He was like “well did you tell the doctor that why is it on here” and when I said I didn’t want to schedule with a different one he sighed and acted like I was causing him problems. He was rude and condescending and extremely slow. The line piled up behind me quick and he was sure taking his time. I work in reception I know sometimes you get stuck and have extra stuff to do but he was taking his sweet time. There was also a coffee cup with some sort of spilled substance on the checkout desk it was thick and gross. The doctor I saw was great, but checkout guy super rude and condescending.

    Blonde lady working the front desk is extremely rude. When I walked in I told her I was unable to schedule an appointment due to waiting on the phone for hours to which she replied “yeah there’s like 13 people waiting how can I help you”. I was unable to understand her and didn’t hear the “how can I help you” part so I responded “Okay so do I need to leave and wait on the phone for someone to pick up and schedule an appointment?” to which she replied “No I just said how can I help you?”. I would never recommend going here given the fact you can’t get anyone on the phone and the employees couldn’t care less to help you or be polite. The lady after the fact turned me away and said to just wait for someone to answer. Definitely do not go here if your health concern is urgent.

    I am extremely disappointed with the way Haley Patterson Hall treated my mother during her visit. The level of disrespect and condescension displayed was unacceptable, especially in a setting where compassion and professionalism should be the standard. From the moment of interaction, her demeanor was dismissive—she quite literally turned her nose up at my mother, speaking to her in a belittling and degrading manner. Instead of showing patience or attempting to help her understand how to properly manage her blood sugar, she talked down to her as if she were incapable, making her feel small and embarrassed. What should have been a moment of guidance turned into one of humiliation. My mother was not only dismissed but effectively turned away simply because she needed additional clarification. That is not care—that is neglectful and unprofessional behavior. No patient should ever be made to feel judged, inferior, or looked down upon when seeking help. I strongly urge Haley Patterson Hall to reevaluate her attitude and the way she communicates with others, because this type of behavior is completely unacceptable.

    I wish I could leave 0 stars these people are so rude here. The front desk is not friendly at all, staff act as if they don’t want to be there, and the Doctor (Dr. Maldonado) that my infant child goes to acts clueless and hardly even checks the baby. In the last visit for lab work we waited and waited and waited for labs only to find out that no labs would be happening when they were supposed to!! I got to the office 15 minutes before time of the labs and about 15-20mins went by and I politely asked the front desk did they know how much longer it would be and they told me she would be called back shortly and then 20 more minutes went by and I was called up to the front desk and they said to me they are trying to find out why her orders are not in and that it would be a few more minutes and I waited even longer only to be called back for them to tell me that we don’t do lab work on babies here and I said well this is what my paper work says and that’s is also what’s in my chart as well for her to come here for the lab work. And they basically said the Doctor was supposed to let you know that and I said I understand why the doctor would let this happen and he had close to a month from the last visit to let me know this and failed!!! And close to 3 hours of my time was wasted here only for them to hand me a paper telling me to go over to Piedmont midtown to have the blood work done as if I could just drop what I’m doing to go and get that done when I stated I had a baby sitter in place for me to come here like you all stated and like paper work stated, I couldn’t just head to a new place because everything has to be scheduled with me and baby and baby sitters have to be in place for my other children’s needs as well!!!! That upset me because I live 50 minutes away and I also had to get a baby sitter for my other children in order to get this one the care she needs and get a move on with things and no one seemed to care about all about how far I had to travel and what all it took behind the scenes to be there for my time to only be wasted!!! I spoke to the woman who handles complaints there (MEGAN) and she was horrible!!! She could care less, she only partially listened, and even told me some untruthful stuff… Basically I spoke on how I felt about the experience and my child’s needs only for her to follow up with my child’s pediatrician and tell them something different and I know this because I followed up with my child’s pediatrician right after and she said something completely different to them about my concerns about my child needing a second opinion due to lack of care and support here at this office vs their opinion. In my opinion (Megan) should have just listened to my concerns and should have at least half way pretended to care!!! To my knowledge she really shouldn’t have been saying much of because she is the person who handles complaints and she is not medical to my knowledge!!! I don’t recommend anyone to come to this place at all if it can be helped!!! This place is also very very unorganized. Horrible place and absolutely a horrible experience. My time and gas was also wasted and they want reimburse me for any of their mistakes!!! I just have to take a loss!!! I even called about test results this morning and asked the front desk to please transfer me to a nurse to go over test results and she said I would have to come in for a appointment in order to go over them and that absolutely blows my mind because my baby could have life threatening things going on and how is the baby going to get the help needed if they don’t go over the test results with me even though I can already see them my My-Chart and the front desk representative was so rude!!! I mean rude as all get out… THIS PLACE IS A JOKE!!!!

    I attended this appointment with my best friend for support, and unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. My friend is currently dealing with significant health-related stress and was hoping for clarity and guidance. Instead of providing a calm explanation or discussing possible next steps, the nurse practitioner appeared unprepared to assess the patient’s symptoms and concerns. There was little effort made to review the situation thoroughly or offer alternative options. When questions were asked, rather than acknowledging uncertainty or explaining that further evaluation might be needed, the nurse practitioner responded in a passive-aggressive manner and raised her voice, stating, “You can see another provider.” This response felt dismissive and unprofessional. Patients seeking medical care are often vulnerable and anxious. A compassionate, prepared, and respectful approach is essential. Unfortunately, this appointment did not meet those standards. I hope this feedback is taken seriously so that future patients receive the care, preparation, and professionalism they deserve from D.Mills ,NP.
