  This rating is specifically for the optometrist’s office located in the facility. I was given a 12:30 appointment even though they don’t reopen from lunch until after 1:00. The doctor himself was a boomer very dry, not kid-friendly, and not informative. When I asked about my child receiving glasses for the first time, his response was simply “no comment.” He seems very outdated in his approach and probably should consider retiring. Additionally, they do not include the PD measurement on the prescription, and staff only tell you after the appointment is over that you cannot purchase glasses directly from them if you have Medicaid unless you pay in cash!

  One star due to poor experience and mishandling On Tuesday, America’s Best called to confirm whether they accepted my niece’s insurance. We found out they did and were told they also take walk-ins until 3:30 PM. I arrived at 2:20 PM but was informed they weren’t accepting any more walk-ins for the day. Since we had already spoken with them, the staff said they would schedule us an appointment for Thursday (as they’re closed on Wednesdays). When we arrived Thursday at 1:45 PM, it turned out we didn’t actually have an appointment. After speaking with the receptionist, she acknowledged the mistake and said she would get us seen. However, the optometrist attempted to defend the receptionist even though it was clearly an error on their part. During the conversation, the optometrist even showed me other patient’s information, which was completely inappropriate (first and last names of patients in the system). Which only proved my point that an appointment was never made. I walked through the timeline of events to prove my point, but the entire situation was handled poorly. He still wanted to justify the situation, I explained he was wasting more time when clearly there were a long line of patients still needing to be seen and it was already 2:45. It’s disappointing, and we won’t be returning. One star for the overall experience.

  The cost is great and affordable. The service is fast. The office staff is accommodating and helpful. I am switching my entire family to this office. Thank you Dr. Clark and Staff.

  Everyone was so pleasant and customer oriented. My eye exam went well and he fitted me with the lenses I needed. Glasses were reasonably priced and pick up went smoothly. I recommend anyone who has had issues with getting the wrong prescription for your lenses please give them a call
